WSEX - when you hit the online limit, you had to wait for five minutes to hit it again. They just wanted to make sure that hitting it twice or three times was not an error.
You are always allowed to call in when you reached the online limit, however there is a possibility you would not get the same line.
This is a typical example of the convenience of having more than one out.
It does depend on the book. But in general, if the line has not moved for five minutes after your initial bet, most books will take another limit bet by phone (even if the software doesn't allow it online).
Definetly depends on the book. What I will never understand, are the books that lock you out after you reach that limit, regardless of whether or not the number changes, or you bet the other side!
In otherwords, you bet a limit on one side of the game, and for whatever reason, want to get off the game at the same price at that book. Nope, sorry. You've reached your limit. In this case, the book is turning away free money.
There's even software out there that after you bet a limit on the side, it won't allow you to bet a total on the same game. They apply the limit to all wagers pertaining to that particular game. Makes no sense.
Good software for online books is a major issue in this industry......
