On your web site I can see that you accept Switch cards for betting, but I also see that you don't accept bets from people in the United Kingdom. How is this supposed to work, considering that the Switch card is the UK's domestic debit card?

Cons
Thank you for bringing this to everyone's attention.
There are many people who enjoy non-UK residential status, but, also visit/reside within the UK for short periods of time.
These same people also perhaps bank within the UK, and have access to Switch (debit) Cards.
Our Switch card service therefore provides a much needed alternative deposit/withdrawal method, for a specific group of people..... e.g. UK 'ex-pats' residing outside of the UK
If you have any more questions we will be happy to help.

just out of interest, how hard is it to obtain one of these cards?
I'm an Aussie, say I went to the UK for a week and wanted to set up an account and get this card, specifically to make it easier to use UK bookmakers, could I do with little or no fuss?
Was a bit slack with bills during my poor student days and banks aren't too keen on my credit rating to give me a MC/Visa ...

I am an Aussie in the UK. Can't of course speak for everyone's experiences but my own was that it was quite difficult to get a card.
Basically to get a bank account you need to be able to prove that you have a UK residential address. To get a residential address you have to prove to the estate agents that oyu have a UK bank account and history.
The banks ask for utility bills etc to prove that you have an address. Don't know what a 16 yr old who lives at home does.
Must be an easier way.
In the end I used the address of my workplace and the bank staff 'tricked' their computer system into allowing me to set up an account.
The ex-pats I know tell similar tales. An account during a weeklong holiday might be tough.
Incidently Switch is poor security wise. There is no 'verification' when using it in a store (eg no signature). Apparantly card copying is not uncommon.
