It became a tourist attraction, some places were converted to rest houses and the governor of that place is doing a great job maintaining it aside from the absence of the naval base and you're absolutely right, prostitutes have to move elsewhere to earn a living.

Had I seen the preserve glass tomb of Ferdi? Sure I did. I saw it in Hawaii, me and my wife couldn't believe what we saw and it became a big tourist attraction. Imelda was paying $10,000 a month to preserve that body becasue she was waiting for Corazon to step down and will bring the body in PI (Batac, Ilocos Sur) for proper funeral.

These people were so powerful and had Ferdi is still alived, PI will be one of the places where OFFSHORE will progress. Why did I say that? Because these people will do anything (good or bad) just to rake money.

When Bong Bong Marcos (Ferdi's son) came back from London he had an English accent and the father was very devastated about it. He told his son to stay in PI for a little bit more and start talking in his dialect to get rid of that stupid accent. The father is grooming him to be the next presidend and having that kind of accent will not reach that goal. I met him once and told me about the situation that he will be staying in the country a little bit longer as planned and asked me what is the best business to start with. Mikewise, you are absolutely right. Latin American women, in general, are sexier, more pasionate,and more feminine than Caucasian women. And in my opinion, Latin Americans, both men and women, are the best looking people. What makes so many Philippine women special among Asians is that they have a lot of Spanish blood in them.

I'm so glad there was a post like yours in this topic when I came home tonight. Glad to see that relationships of substance are not completely out-"dated". The fact that it came across without any "holier-than thou" tone made it that much more refreshing.

I'm not against all-out hedonism by any stretch of the imagination. However, it's just hard to think that someone who only cares to purchase sensualism, and the accompanying - and mindless - obedience and subordination, can find true happiness at the end of the day. How can there be anything dynamic about that sort of repetition?

I'd like to jump in here for a bit if I could. I have some very strong opinions on this subject because (as Reno knows), I live in Pacific Beach AND I have a strong attraction to asian women. Also, what I have found quite interesting, is, given my tenure here in PB, I've had the DISpleasure of watching women come here from other states and countries, with absolutely everything a guy would deem desirable, and become snotty, cold, materialistic, self-serving, manipulative, and positively "non-sexy, within a remarkable short period of time.

Why I grew attracted to Asian women, I do not know. But I think I can take a stab at it. Beyond their physical beauty, they are truly WOMEN in every sense of the word. And I don't mean in an old-fashioned, subserviant sort of way. I mean, as someone above put it, they WANT to be women and they play the part. They are feminine and proud to be so. In my opinion, there is nothing sexier about a woman than her femininity.

Also, being within a few miles of the Mexican border, I'm also quite familiar with Latin/Mexican women. Everything said in this thread about them I also find to be true. They are loyal, sexy, know how to dress, but extremely possessive and jealous. They also do not age well, and almost universally, "blimp-up" when they hit about 30.

PS. Reno, still planning on that trip to the Philipines that I discussed with you. Had to postpone it for awhile but am almost certain to make the venture within the next calendar year. Udog7: Damn, I've talked to you so many times.......didn't know that you had insight/experience on the subject. Definately want to talk to you and get your slant before I embark on my journey.
