    -PLEASE READ-
For those who read and/or responded to my previous message and Easybets.

I would like to apologize to Easybets regarding my situation. A gentleman from their offices explained to me what happened, apparently the losing bet was placed 2 minutes before tee-time whereas the others had already begun. It was a terrible mistake(s) on my part, something I overlooked and that I should have contacted them earlier without having to start this thread in the first place.

I do not doubt the integrity of Easybets, nor do I want others to based on what I said earlier and fwiw, I haven't had any problems with them. Again I apologize deeply for this and any trouble I might have caused.

I guess these bets were on the wgc-emc, since a lot of books had their lines up well after the tee times. I think there was alot of confusion about the tee times.

btw, I saw the scores rolling in on pgatour.com and was tempted to play into some of them, but decided it wasn't worth it. A, beacause it would be cheating and B, because golf matches like this can swing in either direction pretty quickly.

Anyway, I would call them and try to clear it up. Certainly they should have graded all bets as non action. Good Luck dealing with their customer service though, they are not the greatest...

Easybets? Yeah, right. Apt, you're not the first person to have Easybets pull this stunt of cancelling your winning bets and not your losers.

Check the Bettorsworld archives for info about this infamous book that was long ago removed from the Bettorsworld List of recommended sportsbooks.

It' funny you mention easybet and golf in the same sentance, because I have had problems ,inregard to a bet I placed on the 11 of november which has not being settled yet

I had a 2 ball matchup on the 3rd round. Now my player R Mediate did not finish the 3rd round, but I believe he also didn't start the 3rd round (having watch the live scoring and seeing L Parsons playing by himself from the 2nd hole onwards without R Mediate, plus having the same bet at another bookmaker and getting your money back , would leed you to believe he didn't tee off)

But easybets is f-cking me around, saying we are looking into it, and now the guy who was looking into it "is not here be back in a half a hour"

my guess is easybet hopes I just go away and keeps the money

At bests, you can say about easybets is it has sh-t customer service

But by the look of the previous post and what I can see them doing to me.Give them half a chance and they will pick you pocket.

        STAY AWAY FROM EASYBETS

As I always said, Easybets is one of the first books that attracted attention from this forum. This was the time that you could only count offshores with your one hand. They obviously didn't take care of their customers and people just started staying away from them (I'm not so sure about TheGuesser), if he is still a client.

I always get paid on time but I absolutely agree about their customer service. There was a time I tried to place a bet online and for some reasons I couldn't log-on so I decided to call in my wager and the guy who answered the phone told me that I couldn't do it and had to call back because he was too busy. I almost fell off my chair and couldn't believe it.

OZ, a couple of weeks ago I had 2 72 hole match bets on an australian Tour event. All 4 golfers missed the cut. Fortunately for me, they were both winners though. Well into the next week, Easybets had not graded the bet. I called and was told they would look into it. After a couple of days with no resolution, I called back and actually got to a service rep who seemed competent. He actually got the bet graded.

My suggestion is to keep bugging them, cause there is a least 1 guy there who should be able to help you out.

imo, it would be helpful if you can point them to a website where the results are listed. I know you shouldn't have to go thru hoops to get this done but...

Still with them UDog7. Luckily, I have not experienced any of the problems with them that others have reported, and I have always been paid promptly.

I’ll start by dealing with the post that started this particular thread

We have already replied to APT regarding his Golf wager. The matchups were timed out 2 hours klate, due to incorrect timed ontained from both our odds compiler and PGA tour. The bets were all for a relatively equal amount, and were not large enough in our view to be catagorised as dubious wagers. Nevertheless, we were left with no other option to cancel wagers that were late, regardless of whether they were winners or losers. Having spoken to Apt personally, I found that he did not communicate by either phone or e-mail prior to posting. This was because of a bad experience he had with another Sportsbook in the past.

OZ, regarding your Golf wager, we have received confirmation from our odds compiler that Rocco Mediate did in fact not start the third round of the American Express championship. The reason for the delay was due to some confusion as to whether Mediate had actually teed off for the third round, and then retired injured. This has now been voided, and our apologies are in order for this delay. You should find this on your account statement.

With regards to the Golf, although we have had some slight problems when grading Golf wagers over the past month or so, these have now been resolved, and steps have been taken to avoid a repetition of this in the future.

Any questions, please do not hesitate to contact myself or my colleagues directly.

                Regards

                Diarmuid
