We would like to take this time to apologize for the delayed response.

On the topic of you not having received your funds at a time that was convenient to you, our customers are told that we can only process payouts between the hours of 8:00 am to 12:00 noon. If this was not conveyed to you, we apologize.
Since we are operational 24 hours, a payout can be requested at any time to be processed during the allotted time, therefore reaching you at your anticipated time.
In regards to payouts via net teller, only the initially deposited amount can be sent to you at any one time. If there is an exceeding balance this will be sent to you in the form of a check via Federal Express. Before sending the fed ex the accounting clerk encountered a credit card of yours that was on file. After which we had a conversation with you regarding the procedures when it comes to credit cards and payouts. We then went ahead and sent the package.
If you have any further questions regarding this or any other matter, please contact our Accounting Department at 1-800-580-5558.

We do value all our customers and we are definitely still one of the safest places to bet.
Once again we apologize for any inconvenience caused.

        Thank You,

        World Wide Tele Sports

WWTS, can you explain the reason for the NETeller policy (withdrawals only up to the amount deposited)?

            WWTS,

I was done with this topic. Since I have my money now, I should just let this go. However, this response seems like a little bit of revisionist history to me. This post and apology seems a little condescending if you ask me.

            Let's do a timeline here:

            1.) 1/25/2000 - Deposit $500 via credit card

            2.) 11/9/2000 - Deposit $1000 via Neteller

3.) 11/27/2000 - Request $500 to be credited to my card. This transaction was never completed. I was not informed by any means by WWTS about this. If this transaction would have went through, I would not have even tried the subsequent Neteller withdrawal.

            4.) 12/8/2000 12:10 pm EST - Requested a withdrawal of $2500 via Neteller.

5.) 12/8/2000 3:00 pm EST - I called wwts to question why withdrawal request was not processed. I was informed about the 8:00 am to noon policy. I was not informed about any limitations in the amount I could withdrawal. I then posted my complaint here about the noon limit. Which I still feel is a valid complaint as most other books process Neteller requests during normal business hours even if they only process other payouts on Mondays. I was told that my payout would be processed first thing Monday.
12/11/2000 10:30 am EST - Since my request was still showing pending, I called. It was then that I was told about their infamous Neteller policy. A bit miffed, I requested full payment of my funds. I again mentioned the credit card fiasco and was told that nothing needed to be credited back to my card. When arrived home, there was a message time stamped 4:30 EST requesting me to call. At 5;45 I call and am told of the photocopy requirement. After going a little ballistic, I say fine and hang up the phone. I then post again with my complaints.

6.) 12/12/2000 8:30 am EST - I call and am informed that a photocopy is not needed, but they must verify that my card is actually cancelled. I give them the customer service number.

7.) 12/13/2000 10:00 am EST - I received my check via FedEx. It was very promptly and I post here.

8.) 12/13/20000 noon - WWTS responds with condescending apology.
            ---------------------------------------------

I find it very funny that WWTS waits until I get my check before posting their response. Almost like they didn't even know this thread was an going on.

I never questioned whether they would pay me, or not. I do question their accounting department for screwing up the credit card refund and not even bothering to inform me. I also question their Neteller policy. This policy is ridiculous and it still has not been fully explained. As is, it useless to the customer (except perhaps for deposits). I also question their accounting department for not informing me of the photocopy requirement when I requested payment Monday morning. Finally, I question the motivation behind this post by WWTS. If it is in fact a sincere apology, then I apologize in advance for this reaction.
WWTS is one of the biggest and they do pay, but there are many other books that also pay. If anyone thinks that the above scenario was good or competent customer service on their part, please let me know. I don’t feel that it was.

            Thank You

            Fats

              Info on Netellers Merchant Programme

"There are no credit card hold backs. We perform our own risk management. We do not pass on
charge backs to the Merchant but absorb them ourselves. There are no holdbacks from Merchants on
credit card deposits. For transfers over $100 and up to $5,000 to and from their clients, Merchants
pay $15.00. Transfers under $100 are 15% each way. As and alternative, merchants may opt for fee
billing at the rate of 4% for all transfers.
              "

There is no mention of any limit being applied to the paying of customers money in their conditions, this policy I would guess is implimented by the book in question. What I mean by this is that if the sportbook or merchant has enough money in it's neteller acount then there is no mention of any limit being applied to the amount they can pay into your neteller account. In fact the books have to have a minimum amount in their account to facilitate payouts.

Also some books charge you money for withdrawals only and absorb the cost for you to deposit, I know wagersteet.com charges for as above for withdrawals only. (it would seem WWTS is charging you for both the deposit and the withdrawal, but only if you withdrawal ;-)

I have more info on this if anybody is interested.
