  • Caesars Palace low limits?

I was in vegas over the weekend and wanted to play the army navy money line. Army-135 Navy +115 I went to the window to place 5000 on Navy +115. The suit said he could only take 3 dimes. I passed and decided to shop elsewhere. Right after i left the ***** moved the line to 105. The Mirage and MGM didn't offer the moneyline on that game and no where else that I went would take more then 2 dimes. Vegas is finished. I also put a dime on marshall 1st half +3 +120 and they moved the line right after to +3 -110. The only place to play real numbers is offshore. Well my 20 month baby loved the scenery but vegas to gamble sucks.

I remember back in the '80s when Caesar's Palace would take absolutely huge bets on football games. Now the town is ultra-corporate and ultra-conservative. In the '80s, Vegas was an exciting place for sportsbetting. Now, it is a boring place--sterile. over-regulated, and contracted.

It's always fun to load up on soft and slow #s. Even big chain casinos dry up. Corporate tolerance these days is limited.

A-train. Why didn't you get down on the 3 dimes when you had a chance and shop for the remaining two dimes ????

Jpet you are exactly correct on what I should have done but I chose to not use Caesars for anything. I refuse to give them my business.
