After taking the summer off from betting baseball, I decided to post up again for the NFL and NBA seasons. After all the the great things I had heard about Olympic in this forum, I decided to post up with them. On October 12 I sent them $100 to open up an account, but after a month and a half I saw that my credit card had not been charged. I let them know about it, since I am an honest person. But I have to admit I was also concerned that my bets might be considered void because my account was never actually funded, or whatever excuse some other books might come up with. I should have known better not to think this of Olympic, because today I got this e-mail:
Thanks for being honest and letting us know about the missing transaction.
We had a major problem with our old processor back in Oct not refunding or
charging some transactions, and ended up switching to a new processor. In
this case, even though the transaction went through, it only went through as
an authorization and was never billed. You will never see a bill for the
$100 charge, so you can consider it a free gift from us..
Thanks for
your comments, and we appreciate any referrals you may lead our way in the
future. Have a good day, Mike Olympic Sports
What can I say? That's class! Olympic continues to write the book on customer service.
