No, ties don't lose on a pleaser. It goes down to the lower parlay. However, one push and a win normally pays $1.50 (payout odds vary though).

All of the sportsbooks that use the Unified Gaming software offer pleasers. Pleasers, as mentioned before, are reverted teasers with, obviously, higher payout odds.

Hopefully in the near future, with the Unified books, the player will be able to not only buy points on spreads, but also sell points. For example if the Lakers are -4.5 at regular -110 odds you can take them -4 -120 or -5 EV, -5.5 +110 -6 +120 etc.
