Cold Calling by Books

Just to let people know I have been cold called by 2 different sportsbooks in the past couple weeks. They are DSI (Dimond Sportsbook International) and First Fidelity.
They were touting free money, free plays etc..
I personally hate it when sportsbooks call me to get me to post up with them. I would NOT join a book just because of that. It gives me the impression that they need your money and more players. Was wondering what others thought of cold calling?

I also got called by playersplus discount sportsbook. FWIW, I think they're all connected since I get unsolicited regular mail from them as well despite the fact I never had anything to do with any of them.

I definitely agree. I have been called twice this month by SBG. It only discourages me from re-posting there.

I'll take all the soliciting e-mail and paper mail they want to send - it's not intrusive and disruptive.
