Betswap, on looking again - pretty much the same, Debit cards only, or bankwire/cheque, so still highly UKish.

Indeed, their is obviously more of a market for U.K bettors, that and the fact that the people from the US are not(in most states), for some absolutly crazy reason, allowed to gamble online (But odds on this will change ;-)
Yet you can own a semi automatic gun and let your kid shoot his friends at school when he finds it in the closet ;-)

A few points to be cleared up. (First of all, the 400,000 is a bit off the mark - this is the number of players that Bet-Ex's parent company SSP took 20 years to build up).
Alec,
If you tried the Bet-Ex phone service you would pretty soon get the hang of how things work, and realise that the guys in the office earn their $10 administration fee. What you get is access to an international network of backers/layers, with Bet-Ex in the middle facilitating the process. Bet-Ex has a number of serious tennis players (as well as on other sports of course), if that is your interest.
Offers come in at various times, from
differing sources and timezones. Sometimes v. little is available, sometimes a lot. The interactive software lets you "get on with it" yourself, so is separate from the telephone service. As people get more comfortable with this format, you'll see a lot more offers.
Odds: if you put out poor odds, don't expect too many takers. Players willing to utilise the 105-100 to offer better odds get the action.
Booking: clear advantage, you can specify which side you want to lay. You don't have to wait until game time, either - you can specify what time your offers close.
Example, you put out offers on NBA overnight lines. By the time you wake up you'll know if anything has been taken (for example, by Far East customers whose day is then coming to a close). Gives you the rest of the day to shop around for your remaining bets.
A point raised was that you are restricted to the amount that other people want to offer/bet. -If these bets are at better rates than elsewhere, though, then surely anything is a bonus? For the rest, use your regular outlets as usual.
Your comments have been very helpful.
Thanks and good luck!
