Yahoo PayDirect appears to be similar to PayPal. Are there any advantages of one over the other?

Could someone please tell me how, when using a credit card with PayPal, Yahoo and Neteller, that it NOT be considered a cash advance?

      How can that be?

      Best of Luck,
      Groz

Please note the following rules that are stipulated by Yahoo DirectPay when you sign up.

. Use of PayDirect. You agree to use PayDirect only for bona fide and lawful purposes. You may not use PayDirect to conduct gambling activities. The Bank and Yahoo! have the right to terminate your PayDirect Account or refuse to process any PayDirect transaction if either the Bank or Yahoo! believes, in its sole discretion, that you are using PayDirect for any illegal or improper purposes, and you agree that neither the Bank nor Yahoo! will be held responsible or liable to you or any other person for such termination. Yahoo! and the Bank may report suspicious activity to appropriate law enforcement organizations.

Groz, use a check card instead of a credit card. Then it doesn't matter how it is logged, you are not charged fees by your bank.

            Axle,

Wow. That's important. I was thinking about setting up a PayDirect account, and thank you a hundred times over saving me from potential hassles.

Are you the kind of guy who reads the installation instructions before setting up electronic stuff too?

            --

So WIT, what's the deal? Did you not know about this? Or are you able to disguise these transactions so they don't look suspicious? From looking at your webpage and hearing the buzz about you your whole game plan is to be as up-front as possible about everything, so I'm a little surprised you'd put a post-up customer in the position to be hassled in this way.

            Or am I missing something?

              J,

I think its important to note that a deposit to NETeller is no different than a deposit to your VISA or MASTER card. Using PayDirect to deposit to your NETeller account does not constitute a transferral for gambling purposes any more than a deposit to your VISA OR MASTER card
              does.

You are correct to say, "From looking at your webpage and hearing the buzz about you, your whole game plan is to be as up-front as possible about everything". However in no way would WIT Sports try and deceive its customers or want them to be hasseled in anyway!

              Best regards,

              Shay

                Shay,

Your explanation makes sense. It's clear to me now that Yahoo-PayDirect has one policy, and NetTeller quite a different one. And that it's the latter the player should be concerned with.

                Thanks for the clarification.

. . . but does PayDirect do anything for me that PayPal doesn't already?
