      Fatty,

Count me in to. And don't bother with any of the smaller places. I only want the ones that will take $5,000 and higher.

I know English Sports takes them, But I left them because I could not understand their operators. I just talked with Nasa & they take them as does Millennium. At least thats what they told me

          So does WSEX.

Shawnee and Fatty, how about showing us the math that makes this such a "winning prop" before making fun of the guy who posts the query?

              Phaedrus,

After this topic is through there probably won't be any more places that allow you to do it.

As far as showing the math I can only respond that over the years I've learned many things. One of them is that showing how smart I am just to feed my ego generally results in less food to put in my mouth. But never fear as I'm sure that there are others here who have yet to learn that valuable lesson and will provide the answer shortly.

Ronbets is probably someone who knows how to answer this question in the proper way. He points the questionaire in the right direction without actually giving him all the answers. In fact I'm very grateful for his posts here and have learned quite alot from them. Thank you Ronbets!

                Shawnee:

I don't need the answer, matter of fact I know the reason. I just found it odd that both you and "fatty" were so quick to laugh off the juniors post without providing rhyme or reason as to why.

                  Phaedrus,

You are right. I was wrong in laughing off the post. Fatty's response was enough and I should have left it at that. My apologies Bigshooter.

And as for you Phaedrus I KNOW that YOU don't need the answer. You're perfectly capable of figuring it out for yourself based on some of yours posts I've seen.

                    Shawnee/Fatty,

What we are all looking for is a joint that takes a parlay that includes the dog and the same game +1.5 runs.

How 'bout that phaedrus? Would you go for that?

Alright, I'll give it a shot. I could get our linesman to give me the math computations, but this is how I see it.

You have to look at the plays as they relate to each other. In order for you to win laying the 1 1/2 runs you team must score two more runs that the other team. So, if you win the first leg, you have a two run head start on the total to go over.

Therefore if your total is 8, if you win the first leg you only need 6 runs to win money.
That is called correlation, but the plus 1 1/2 and the over is about the same.

How about parlaying the first half under to a big dog for the whole game?

Some stores are taking them. I can remember when we wouldn't allow a side to total parlay at half times.

                      Times are a changing!!

That's alright FATTY, I did some work on my own & found a joint that takes them. I was lucky enough to have the A's -1 1/2 and the over on Friday Night. " If you want something done do it yourself " is a motto, I have learned to accept here.
