We must be doing something incorrectly because ALL of the topics that have anything to do with Top Of The World Sports keeps disappearing from this forum. We have no problems in any of the other forums having our posts remain for the betting public to read and evaluate for themselves. I wonder if this is a computer problem, or if we are making some kind of error when we post.

It is very unfortunate that a post that can benefit the "Bettors" at "Bettorsworld" would be deleted due to the fact that the poster does not pay to advertise on your site. We have always had alot of respect for this site, and valued the information that has been posted here as unbiased posts of any kind by anybody who wishes to post here. 5% Juice saves the average "Bettor" hundreds, if not thousands of dollars over the course of the year. This is valuable information for the general public that visits this site. Deleting this information is only costing the "Bettors" who read the forum in "Bettorsworld."

Yes, but of course, you are correct. Big bad bettorsworld is withholding this valuable information from the vistors of this site. It's not as if you have never run this ad in here before.

It's unfortunate that you don't respect our wishes. Especially after receiving 6 months of promotion(free advertising) from a gateway to Bettorsworld, oddswiz.com, a site that gets plenty of traffic as a result of the past, and serves as passage way to Bettorsworld via search engines.

That was done last spring, and only recently taken down.

Also note that I personally, have spoken highly of you, and reccomended you, to SEVERAL of my personal friends and aquaintances in the betting world, for quite some time now, AND have spoken highly of you on the site. Hell, I even did a nice write up which was housed on oddswiz.com for the past 6 months.

I guess I should strongly reconsider my previous opinions.

We very much appreciate the very good write up you gave us, and the kind words posted in this forum. We feel that we have lived up to our reputation of being a Financially solid Sports Book that operates in a very professional manner in the taking of wagers and promptly paying our customers.
I do not understand what it is that would make you change your opinion of us, other than the fact that we post in your forum and do not advertise here at the present time. We were under the impression that this is a public forum for posting any information pertaining to Gambling. Until seeing our recent posts deleted, we did not know it was a pre-requisite for Sports Books to be a Bettorsworld advertiser to post here.

We are a very solid operation that operates in a very professional manner and has no complaints from customers other than some minor computer problems in the past that has since been rectified. We would think that we would be a welcomed member of a forum that is here for people to post information of all kinds.

Of course not. If that were the case,(and you know it's not)
we never would have allowed you to post in the 1st place. (19 times since 8/22) plus a few times under another user name.

if that is the case, then of course you realize and are aware that soliciting has always been frowned upon, not just by us, but by the visitors as well.

It's really quite simple. We have always let books who come in here either as themselves, or anonymously, solicit or plug, providing they give something of substance in return.

Likewise, the books that have taken the time to contact us ahead of time, we generally have had no problem letting them plug a special or whatever.

To sum up, we'd like this forum to be a place where players can exchange information pertaining to sportsbetting and the sportsbooks they play at. We WELCOME ANY sportsbooks to answer questions specifically directed at their company, or to participate in the forums in any other way. We prefer that only those sportsbooks that advertise and help make this forum possible, post ads in the forum. It's only fair.

I don't want to interfere with the "big boys" here but there was some posting I had some previous week regarding this matter. To my understanding it seems that there was some sort of "agreement" between BW and TWS about 6 months ago. As we all know, there was some positive write-ups just before the launching of TWS and all of a sudden everything became silent. I asked a few people on how solid or good TWS in this forum and I only had gotten a few response until I just decided to go on my own and try it myself. I am very much satisfied with the customer service all the way down to payout and my experienced with them is nothing but POSITIVE. For those people who are still hesitant about this shop, me myself is recommending them for a "good ride". Good luck to all!!!

udog: No agreement was ever made. However, since you have stepped into this post, let me make a point.

Feedback such as yours, and other PLAYERS, quite frankly, is all that should matter in these forums.

No one wants to hear a book owner or representative come in and say how great and how solid they are. I mean, what are they going to say? "COME PLAY WITH US! WE'RE A LITTLE SHAKY, AND NOT QUITE FINANCIALLY STABLE, BUT COME TAKE A SHOT! "

No, of course not. They are going to tell you how great they are, how solid they are, and how long they have been around.

For that matter, no one should pay any attention to what indivdual site owners say either, INCLUDING THIS SITE. (although I'll always give my opinions, take them or leave them)

Listen to the players. Listen to how fast players get paid. Listen to how players are treated. Watch to see how the book conducts themselves in public. Chances are, if they don't treat people respectfully when conducting business in public, they won't treat you respectfully when you play there.

There are lots of questions I would like to ask between BW and TWS which really puzzles me up to this particular moment but I think it would be best for me to just ignore this post (which is non of my business anyway) and keep quiet because "I might not get it again" Good luck!

As a "relatively" unbiased observer and judging only by the original above posting by the author Top World sportsbook, it appears the posting is nothing more than a self placed free advertisement.

Administrators of any forum have to balance allowing one book to place such self serving posts with potentially hundreds of other books doing the same thing. Even one such post, not to mention several, would not be much of a useful forum contribution.

Hoping it may ultimately cause other books to compete, I am pleased learn of books offering 5% vig, even though I am a skeptic, wondering if such books are just luring customers only to weed out the winners and send them packing or other restrictions, in which case one could easily afford to offer even 2% or less vig.

Perhaps the site administrators could consider yet another Forum Category such as
"Misc Sportbooks Announcements & Specials"...seems at least a partial solution to these kind of conflicts.

We have 30 some odd books here-all quality enough to be on bettorsworld. They pay for the right to come in the posting room and talk about new perks, bonuses etc...

Some sportsbooks who opt to advertise elsewhere because of ties or because they are not at the quality level we require here feel its a cheap easy way to get a few thousand people (targeted) to read their post and maybe join.

They do this at the expense of OUR books and bettorsworld. They then cry "bettorsworld is not in it for the player". We have 32 books. I am sure anyone can find what they are looking for with one of ours.
Also, do these same sportsbooks do what is "best" for the player? do they send one of their players to another book if THAT book offers better juice on mondays?
Do they say "hey joe, don't play with me on monday night-my juice is higher than XYZ BOOK.

Lets get real here. This posting room is for OUR sportsbooks to SOLICIT if they wish because we know they are solid and they are PAYING customers.
If your book fits neither of these categories, then unless you have industry NEWS that is helpful to our players-go to the posting rooms that claim they are the BIGGEST nad BEST. Stay out of here.
