  • to BW posters and Admin

    I tried this FYI at another forum and it worked well, garnering intelligent responses and replys.
    To BW posters and Admin. - please indulge me in what will seem like an off topic post at 1st. I will return to show relevance to this site and sports & wagering. Please read the following statements.

    1:the right of personal freedom recedes before the duty to preserve the race. The demand that defective people be prevented from propogating equally defective offspring is a demand of the clearest reason and if systematically executed (mass, forced, sterilization) represents the most humane act of mankind.

    2 -when I first heard the term 'special education' I was overjoyed. I thought - finally, the government is going to reward the gifted among us, those with high IQ's, etc. I was shocked to learn that 'special education' was nothing of the sort. Instead, it was programs and money wasted on the retarded, the sick, and the handicapped, for God knows what, for God knows why.

    Render an opinion if you choose, as to similarities between the two, content, morality, and possible authors.

    #1 Sounds like an excerpt from Hitler's Mein Kampf. A systematic ploy for a "Master Race"

    #2 Sounds like everyday conversation in today's society. An elitist overview.

    Both are morally bankrupt!!

    Sonny, come to think of it, paragraph #2 reminds me of Louisiana's own David Duke.

      1. As the squares go broke, are we evolving a smarter betting public?

      2. Reno is championing the latest in special education, with his "save-the-squares" course for the handicapping impaired.

        Sportshobby, as the great metaphysician and occultist Manly P. Hall opined, "The highest
        form of philosophy is serving your fellow man." Given the incontrovertible truth of that statement, my chief goal in life, after I retire from sporsbetting, is to devote myself, as a non-paid consultant, to serving Slam Dunk's Save The Squares Foundation.

        Consider the alternative: I could live in the Philippines right on the beach, surf every day, and spend nights until dawn partying with, and then boning beautiful, hot, horny, hard-bodied young Asian women.

        Now, I ask you, what kind of lasting personal fulfillent could I possibly derive from merely indulging my gross, hedonistic desires in the aforementioned manner?

        No, true satisfaction in life comes from selflessly serving others. Therefore, I plan
        to devote my life to educating sportsbetting squares. What Mother Teresa was to the poor and hungry, I will be to the ignorant sportsbetting masses.

        If you doubt my intentions, talk to Jeff at Bettorsworld. Even as I write this, BW is in the process of erecting a statue of me that will adorn the frontyard of their lavish new headquarters. The statue will commemorate my forthcoming efforts to save the sportsbetting squares of the world.

        Unfortunately, a statue of this magnitude exceeds the budgetary constraints of BW. Therefore, BW is now requesting donations from you, the esteemed members of Bettorsworld, to help finance the project.
        C'mon guys, don't be niggardly. True satisfaction in life comes from giving. And remember, your contributions are tax deductible.

          Sonny-
          fortunately the freedom you so wish to
          take from others is still allowed to you
          to make such a sick and absurd post. That
          being said I have the belief deep down in
          my gut that your "thoughts"are shared by more
          people than most believe including by many
          elements of extreme right wing political
          view points.

          As for people that disagree with this garbage one must always speak up not to
          censor the moronic and venomous among us
          but to disinfect it. Perhaps if that was done more often in the 1930's 2/3 of the Jewish race would not have been murdered

              ahhh, so far, so good;
              "they are both morally bankrupt";
              Ronbets - an A for you in Humanities; when I posted this tripe I was counting on you to come in here with your keen insight and perception as to the similarity of the way of thinking in both; also an A+ for you in History;
              Sporthobby & Reno - I am a contributing member of Slams philanthropic foundation and am hoping for a seat on the board, although that's irrelevant here;
              Rich - EXACTLY what I was looking for!
              An A+ for righteous indignation but an F for direction (I'll change the F to an I for incomplete though as my directions perhaps were not clear enough);
              Expect someone else to come in shortly and attempt to divert attention from his disgusting shallowness, callousness, and small minded exposed beliefs in a failed cover up with lame excuses.....

                  I am not new to reading these forums but I am new to posting here. Felt the need to comment. I think it is importand that you know that Sonny and I have discussed these issues before. I am the father of two handicapped children so I have a special interest in this topic. Sonny is not the author of either of the comments he posted nor does he support them. The author of the first we all know from our history lessons. The author of the second one, I will leave for Sonny to divulge if he so chooses. Once again Sonny, thanks so much for your compassion for the little people and your passion for defending them.

                      Sonny, if this is about J.R., I think the two of you should take up your differences in private.

                          Sorry if I missed the point. I was never much of a history buff, and don't keep up with politics so much. So the origin of the second statement I haven't the foggiest.

                          But the two statements certainly both have a supremist viewpoint.

                          Most would denounce the morality of both statements. Yet many educated people, whether they admit it or not, have proabably had these thoughts at one time or another.

                          But I'm missing the point, I suppose.

                            anyone notice the rat came in tonight but didn't take the cheese? must have smelled the trap!
                            Zippy - you're alive? didn't you go over the cliff with Professor Moriarty?
                            Rich - NO APOLOGY necessary! You have every right to be offended and appalled. I only wish more saw time to write the same. And you are correct, I am not the moronic one here (nor the venemous one, as some may think based on my other posts);
                            Ronbets - thank you again.
                            Sportshobby - as I said, give me time and I will come back here and show relevance to BW posters and sports wagering; it is not personal, it is necessary; please stay with me on this...
                            Underdog - believe it or not, true story, don't know how it got started but actually had an argument today with someone who swares I'm making it up that "Simon Bar Sinister" was your arch enemy. Where were you when I needed you then? Posting here? Schtupping Polly Pure Bread?
                            and O'Sharpee - thank you for stopping by; it's my pleasure, no need to thank me;
                            I've always been taught, and tried to teach in return, that those who need help should be helped; not kicked, not mocked, not looked down upon, not insulted, and not ignored by condescending pompous asses who are the REAL handicapped...

                              Still alive, Sonny, and off to a rather good start this football season, due in part to not heeding the advice of the legend in his own mind.

                              Don’t I get any credit for my successful sleuthing? In honor of your stalkee, I think I’m at least entitled to being excused from ever paying vig on my losing bets for the rest of my career.

                              (I apologize to any new readers for the references, which will be incomprehensible to those who did not follow certain past threads.)
