  • SBG - No Transfers?

I was surprised to learn that SBG Global will not make transfers of a player's funds to another sportsbook, and I don't really understand why. So instead of sending my withdrawal to a place within walking distance, they insist on sending me the money across the continent, so I can re-send it back across the continent to the other sportsbook.

Maybe someone can explain why a sportsbook would have such a policy.

sporthobby - that kind of policy is obviously a "delaying tactic" hoping that inspite of all the hassles you will just decide to leave your money with them. For me, that kind of act is VERY UNACCEPTABLE!

Most of these shops that don't make money transfers TO another sportsbook, take transfers FROM another shop. That is BS!!

garbage policy done to bring xtra cost and aggravation to the bettor. Books participation in this policy are:

          Bowman's
          Nasa
          Millenium
          Gold Medal

          Just to name a few.

Maybe they think they can keep a customer playing only there (at one book). I don't think most customers are quite that dumb.

So what this policy does is tie up a player's money for about a week, coming and going back.

I think the ability to take a payout in the form of a transfer to another sportsbook is an important criteria in selecting which books to do business with.

SBG is strictly amateur hour, folks. I was shocked that Don Best put them on the feed. This is one of those books that claims "they'll take anything" on a game..until they realize that you're not a square. I hear that they're taking a dime max on the internet...

Totally, 100% agreed Tim. Nothing personal against them but I will never reload my account with SBG.
