I came here in support of other posters who called BS on jr.
jr - now you're getting ridiculous. As beneath me as you are as a human being it is an even farther stretch for you to even attempt to compare your ability as a handicapper to mine.
I told you to quit while you're behind mediocre boy, you should have listened.
I have never entered any contest, handicapping or otherwise. I don't need to try and win one to garner customers for my charlatan shill business of selling picks like you do. My picks are all free and right on the 'net for all to see. My 1999 67% NFL season was documented as well as my 71-37 NBA, a win rate of 65% at over 100 selections, a rate you say no one can do over that many selections, a win rate you have wet dreams of achieving but no chance in reality;
as for being # 8 right now, your below average ability combined with your arrogant but less that avg. intelligence will soon find your place in the middle of the pack at best before seasons end;
still you avoid the ? - what was your record where you swear you gave no picks? where you were so valuable and featured that you were fired!
you are a liar, and a fruad; you are a less than mediocre handicapper but more importantly - you are a less than mediocre human being;
one would think you'd be smart enough to quit trying here but like a masochist you keep coming back for more;
the worse is yet to come for you boy......

Again, in case anyone is watching this unfortunate display of bad behavior, I have never met Mr. Palermo, never had any dealings with him, and never heard of him until his articles showed up in Winner's edge. I have no idea why he has turned into my 'stalker.' I can only assume it's some kind of jealousy thing.

Once again, all my credentials and references (and endorsements) are listed at our website, professionalgambler.com, along with our day-to-day picks. (We are currently up over 20 units since August 20th.)

By his own statements Mr. Palermo does not offer a sports service, and it's plain to see by his own statements he couldn't make a living gambling on his own picks, and he gets paid nothing for his articles, so I presume he's not a professional writer, either. I have no idea what these attacks are all about...Spooky stuff, being stalked.

Personally it makes no difference to me if you want to come in here and pump your service. Everybody has to make a living somehow.

This forum provides a good means to exchange ideas. I've read your book so I know you have plenty of them to share. Your contributions are welcome and appreciated. If you come in here with that mindset we'll all benefit. However if you put yourself on a pedestal you'll get knocked off in a hurry.

It is interesting that Mr. Palermo claims to be a "better human being" than me, and yet he attacks a perfect stranger of whom he knows nothing about. I am sure Mr. Palermo will be delighted to learn that I was commissioned a "Kentucky Colonel" by the Governor of Kentucky "for contributions to the community, state or nation and for special achievements...and accomplishments on behalf of your fellow man."


As for our record, our entire 1999-2000 NFL and 1999-2000 NBA records are posted on our website, Professionalgambler.com; both day-by-day and pick-by-pick. Our past record is our best selling point. Mr. Palermo knows that, so he is lying in the above post. We invite everyone to check us out. We had 237 NFL picks last year. Risking $110 on all bets we "made" $2,939 gross profit against the NFL. We had 563 picks against the NBA last year. Risking $110 per pick we "made" $3,358 against the NBA.

I am hoping that anyone reading this shameful exchange will check us out, including all our references and credentials listed at our website, Professionalgambler.com.

To repeat, I have never met this fellow going by the name "Sonny Palermo", we have never had any business dealings to my knowledge, and I have no idea why he is stalking me or why he hates me so much.

(By the way, our deal with Jeff Tuttle at Winner's Edge last year was a swap-out. I wrote the 1500-word "Feature Article" every week in exchange for a quarter-page ad in the paper for our website, Professionalgambler.com. We did it to promote our website. Believe me, no newspaper like the Winner's Edge could afford me on their payroll.)

How deep in the hole do you think that unit count figure leaves anyone foolish enough to have actually paid for his 'expert', 'professional' service? I made more than that for my readers in baseball alone, and it's not even my 'sport'.

jr - quit trying to divert focus by saying "this is shameful, this is an attack, he is stalking me". Fact is, it's nothing more than an exposure of what a fraud and liar you are.
Don't just throw out the words "he is lying above", point out where the lie is, as I do with you. I know nothing of your site, I've never been there, no need to as I know enough about you to know there can be nothing of value there. And if your record is such a great seller you wouldn't be coming here trying to post links and getting knocked down by the posters and administrators here.
As to the paper you mentioned, it is not my only outlet. I exposed you here because I was told you came in here trying to post links and sell people your service. But I am a regular, valued contributor to 3 printed publications and 4 different web sites. Print runs/web visitor counts show I'm reaching over 250,000 with my columns.
And your exposure these days is?

jr said - "I never gave picks there".
issue dated 1/6/00 he writes "we think - of the 4 games this weekend more will go Under than Over"; all 4 playoff games went Over that weekend;
same issue he also stuck his neck out with the following example of his handicapping prowess - "we think the Rams will have more passing yards than the Bucs". (for someone who thinks he's alone at the top of the handicapping world jr sure uses "we" a lot);
Talk about being a contrarian. I can't imagine there was any other tout who could have forseen the Warner and Bruce led Rams to out pass Dungys' King and Alstott.
In fairness I have to say jr did give the winner of the November 11 game between the Vikes/Cowboys. But, like a true tout, he gave it in the Novemeber 18 issue. I could give more expamples but as I said, enough for this clown. I have other fish to fry. There's a certain self proclaimed 'watchdog' at another site that needs my attention.....

In fact, all our picks in Professional Gambler Newsletter are posted every day on our site, and unlike Mr. Palermo’s picks in his hack articles, we have not yet had a losing weekend against the NFL regular season.
