Ripped Off by NASA, am I wrong here?

I just received probably my tenth large mailing advertisement from NASA this week. Teeball, maybe your winnings are how they're paying for all that advertisement.

It had a color brochure, schedule, a full page letter endorsement from - you guessed it - the doctor himself, and another copy of that misleading advertisement publication Sports Betting Guide.

This is just bullsh*t. If the web site takes the money out of a players account and takes you to a page where it says "BET ACCEPTED" What does that mean??!!??!! Anyone at "N.ever A.ccept S.harp A.ction" care to explain??!! Aren't bets that are accepted final??!!

It is very funny that NASA claims to be the largest sportsbook in the world but has only enough volume to accept $500 on Nascar... ha ha ha ha

Funny thing is, most sportsbooks in the "clink" have gone broke and CAN'T pay. A thriving book that just WON't pay deserves something worse. Maybe there should be a "dungeon".

FWIW, I think a lot of the books that advertise on the other site are connected and/or sell names to each other.

I just got junk mail from First Fidelity, NASA and (ready for a laugh) Player's Plus Discount Sportsbook. And the reason that I believe they are all connected is that I have never contacted any of them in any way and they all had the same mis-spelling of my name on the front of the envelope.

It could be a coincidence but I certainly have never received junk mail from sportsbooks advertising on bettorsworld.

BTW, I'm still trying to figure out what a discount sportsbook is.

Morgan131, do you stand by the statement you made on 9/15 that NASA never informed you that they were limiting your action on NASCAR to $500 plays. Sting is claiming that YOU have admitted to the Shrink that you knew about such limits. Somebody has lied, and it would be nice to know who.

Bottom line is that NASA took the money of Morgan131's account, and took him to a web-page that said "bet accepted". Aren't bets that are accepted final?! If you accept a bet you should honor it, win or loose.

There are questions regarding whether bets were made via phone or online. Morgan states above that all wagers were made online. He has also stated in a phone conversation with Shrink that all wagers were made via phone and that he had been told of his 500 limit.

Mikewise, I agree with you. But there are degrees of wrongdoing and there is little question that NASA looks a lot worse if the player was never told that he has $500 limits(as stated in aformentioned post). Since I have been blasting NASA at another site, it would be nice to know what the actual facts of the situation are. When there are 2 conflicting stories, credibility comes in to play. If the player lodging the complaint does not stand by his post, well you know the rest.

Anyone that says I was told my limit was 500, is a flat out LIAR. I was never, never, never told by anyone that my limit was 500 until after the money was removed from my account. If this Shrink guy says I was told that then he is a LIAR. I placed all my bets online, the only time I ever talk to NASA is to request a payout. Here is the bottom line guys I have kicked their ass in nascar for the last three seasons, but I have lost a lot of money to them in the other big four sports. If my limit in Nascar is 500 then my limit in all sports should be 500. Therefore NASA should refund me all the freaking money I lost in other sports when I bet over 500. The thing is if you are good enough to win at something they wont let you bet, but as long as your a loser you can bet 5000. They stole my money. They might as well have pulled a gun on the street and taken it from me. Bunch of thieves. Believe who you want to believe, but I tell you the NEVER, NEVER, NEVER said a dam word to me about a 500 limit.

Joe, in regards to your questions in your last post. I was never told my limit was 500. My wagers were placed over the internet. Secondly, I would not wager over 500, if I would have been told my limit was 500, for fear of this very thing happening.
If this Shrink guy is the guy I talked to at NASA after they stole my money, for some reason if you mention the bulletin boards to him over the phone he hangs up on you. He hung up on me twice after I mentioned I would have to tell my story on these boards. Ask him whats up with that policy?

I have already been banned from the RX site AGAIN today, for an unrelated incident-though this I am sure has fueled the fire, and so not in the best of moods right now. My latest reply regarding the issue and your post is as follows:

The only thing that is significant here is whether the poster at BW, stands behind his original post. NASA has not denied it, indicating it is true. Now that he stands behind it, CASE CLOSED. NASA IS A JOKE! THEY ARE AN EMBARRASSMENT TO THE ENTIRE INDUSTRY.

If NASA wants to defend themselves, they should come in here themselves and do just
that. Regarding the person calling you a liar Shrink, it was a conditional statement. He said that if "this shrink guy said I was told that then he is a liar". The mistake your genius buddy Sting made is he idenified the person you talked to as Morgan, which appearently is not the case. It was yet another irresponsible statement by Sting the King of irresponsible statements.

Major, as far as I am concerned, no more needs to be said. The player has made an
accusation, NASA has not denied it, the person the Shrink talked to could be
1) an imposter
2) another person who got shafted in a similar fashion.
3) A made up story by the Shrink to divert attention from the issue.

Whatever the case, this isn't THE PRACTICE. I am not going to attack Morgan. He made
a statement, he stands by it, end of story. The rest is up to NASA.

RE your problems with BW, work it out. Brian brought the situation here, the least he can
do is let you direct Morgan over here if that is what you feel is needed. Like I said, I see no need.

As you can see Morgan, I am on your side.
Since it seems that you are not aware of the web site mentioned above, I hope this post stays up and you can respond to some questions others have. As I said, as far as I am concerned they are all diversionary tactics being used to cover up the wrongdoing by NASA. However, it would be nice if you addressed some of the questions, so that they can stop getting away with this big smoke screen.
