  • Steam is on Gore

Olympic, which less than two weeks ago had Gore at +190, now has him at -110. Quite a move, I would say. Gore is still a dog at some other books; Canbet has him at +115.

Don't be a square. Don't let your own political leanings get in the way of objective analysis. Gore is up 49% to Bush's 39% in the latest Newsweek poll. It is almost Labor Day, and history tells up that the candidate who is ahead by then is a virtual lock to take the Election Day booty. The economy continues to hum, and voters vote their pocketbooks every time. They don't give a rat's ass about the Budhist Temple, claims of Internet invention, the boss importing fat chicks from Beverly Hills for BJs, or any of that stuff.

You may have been grossed-out by Al lip-locking his wife on national TV. You may be offended by his running mate talking about God all the time. You may be weary of all the empty rhetoric on campaign finance reform. You may hate the current crop of candidates and wish Adi Da were running.

Who cares? You should regard this simply as another bet. Bush is still the favorite at most sportsbooks because the sportbook "voters" are white males who vote their hearts, not their heads.

This is free money, folks. Take advantage. If you need more convincing, check out the economic model at www.dismal.com.

Rabbit, I wouldn't vote for Adi Da if they paid me...Well, after further thought, if they paid me enough, I would vote for him. Adi Da is the ultimate party animal, way beyond Bubba Clinton. He really digs amyl nitrate because it increases the intensity of orgasms.

When I'm not at Bettorsworld, I'm at another Internet site bashing Adi Da. He is a spiritual genius run amuck who now believes that he he is the promised God-man/Avatar, who was chosen to incarnate in this "late-time" epoch in order to save humanity from the throes of separation from God, whom he defines as the Radiant Transcendental Life-Consciousness, which always already exists prior to and beyond manifest existence.

Because of guys like you, I have eliminated Rev.Billy Graham from "My Favorites List" and doubled popped BW.

Rabbit, the only free money I'll get is when I find D.B. Cooper's stash.

Ronbets, ya gotta love Billy Graham. The guy seems to have a pipeline to the "Man Upstairs." Case in point: I once read his newspaper column wherein a girl asked him if her dog would be in Heaven with her. And Billy told her that if she needed her dog to be happy in Heaven, then her dog would be with her in Heaven. Well, like the "Shrink" on the "Other Site, "I'm cetainly no brain surgeon. But by extrapolation, according to what Billy is saying, if I need Pamela Anderson and a harem of hot, young Asian chicks to be happy in Heaven, then by God I will have them. Yep, Billy is my favorite spiritual Guru.

Bush blew it when he said our military wasn't good enough. Dumbest thing anyone ever said because he was so close to getting elected. What a fool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

            He's a joke not a president...........

Gore.....Well he's Mr Perfect and that spells trouble for all of us. He's not any good either and his wife (dictator material) will drive everyone crazy.

Can't we throw them both away and start over?

Reno - I hoped to get a rise out of you from the Adi Da reference. Thanks for taking the bait.

Ronbets - You are right. There are no locks. Let me just say that the risk/reward ratio for Gore as an underdog is extremely favorable.
