Why is the USA behind other countries in legalizing sports betting? I hope the bill passes on banning college betting in Nevada. Then the money will really start to pour into the off-shore books. How many millions, billions, or maybe trillions of lost American dollars before the idiot politicians
get a brainstorm and legalize sports betting in the 50 states.

Welcome back AV2. We missed you. Tough break your asylum request was denied by INS.
Reno/AV2 that's heresy poking fun at the pillars of our society. Honorable men of cloth like Rev Baker, Rev Swaggert, Jerry Falwell and revjock Reggie White. Atleast Baker kept the standards slightly higher than the White House with Jessica Hahn. You guys must yearn for Madylyn O'Hara.

Wiseguy? No thanks
Not if you have to
Bet only on a couple of yank sports
Get phone calls from Vegas casinos every day
Get all nostalgic and teary about guys with funny nicknames who all suffered badly from passive smoking at various casinos
Be in such a horrible financial position you complain a lot if you can't bet 20 grand on a game

AV2,
Nice comeback! You have some valid points. However, Vegas is no different than Melbourne. How you ask? With a little correction fluid you'd never miss Oz.
Danger tourist/kangeroo crossing.
Canbet/Can't Bet
Cricket/stripper at Cheetahs
Yacht Club/Slot Club
Bourke St./The Strip..oops that's where we run out of fluid.

yes, think Mr. Keats has a bit of a dinky di streak
Public transport cheaper in Melbourne than the Strip, too, and Bourke Street it is possible to walk from one end of to the other without being Dorian Gray
