Many people perceive me as a cold-hearted conservative who believes that government social programs are a waste of money. Well, that perception of me was probably true until I saw how the food stamp program worked for Baseball Joe. I mean, here was a guy, flat broke, who was able to transform his food stamps into wagering money for his baseball parlays. Who says government social programs don't work?

Montana Mel gets a monthly check , from some estate, for between $4-5,000. He pays the rent on an apartment for homself & about 4 other fleas. HE ALSO GIVES EACH ONE $200 WALKAROUND MONEY A MONTH.
