  • Betinternet - review

After opening an account with Betinternet sportsbook I've spent some long hours tonight writing a review of their services. They certainly ned to improve on some areas. They do not offer odds on all events on their website. As a registered online customer you have to pick up the phone and call the betting line office to get the odds !!

What is this, do they not want to do business at all ? And the worst part is that this is official politics, as mentione in their Help files....

I gave them (betinternet.com) a try back in the spring - I suppose it was just after their online site had opened.

Positives were very responsive, courteous customer service and a nice looking web interface. Deposits and payouts were painless, with no fees. Even though they were new, I felt comfortable with my money as they are a publicly traded British corporation.

Negatives made me decide to close the account, with a thought to possibly come back after some of the kinks were worked out:

    (a) When looking at their odds pages, you had to click on the particular match you are interested in to see the odds for that match. There seemed to be no way to see a screen of odds for all NBA games, for example. This really ended up costing a lot of time.

    (b) Their advertised limits are BOOK limits, not player limits. For example, they advertised a one dime limit on NBA. But if someone else had bet 900 on a side, you'd find out that your limit was now only 100. This made the whole thing a bit frustrating.

If they addressed both of these problems, I'd consider looking at them again.

I've also mentioned this in my review. It's silly that you can not get the odds in some sort of a "bulk file", as it would decrease the clicking a lot. The more clicking you get, the more cumbersome experience.

Anyway, I've decided to give them a go, and I will also contact them about their little "kinks" as I've got some contact with people in their staff. hopefully they will listen to their customers.

I just took another look at their site, and they have modified the web pages to allow the odds for all the games (in an event type) to be viewed at once. This really makes an improvement to the old system, where you had to click on each game to get the odds for that game only.

Actually it seems as I've mistaken some of the features at Betinternet. You must call the betting lines to get the odds if you want to bet on events in the running. This is understandable.

They've mdified their odds pages a little, but I still would like to see all the soccer in one file, and all the icehockey in one file, etc. This is still not an option, but I have faith it will be implemented soon. Betinternet have previously shown that they care abouth what the public says, and I belive that te small drawbacks of the site will be removed quite soon.
I'd wish more leagues in the soccer section though (more divisions in each league)

The service level is as you say very good, and this is a major plus.

I've made a few updated to the review I wrote some days ago.
