Welcome to another week of Bworld Newsletter From The Edge.

Isn’t funny how some websites ban together and agree whole-heartedly on things
that conveniently go against what Bettorsworld stands for. Such is the case in
the scary incident in which Bob Eremian, the owner of SOS was deported from
Antigua and sent to the U.S. Sports Off Shore has been and is one of the most
respected books in the industry. They’ve paid every client that has ever laid
down a bet and put in to collect. Some web sites jumped on this misfortunate
incident as a way to increase traffic. Thy screamed “We protect the player at
any cost”. They cried out “ It’s the player first”. These sites imply
Bettorsworld is hiding information from the player-not protecting the player.
One website owner actually “bragged” about his close relationship with Bob (SOS
and that Bob cooked him a gourmet meal in Antigua. But alas, with minimal
information available he quickly posts on the site in big headlines “Bob Eremian
Deported”.
What was the purpose of posting this without waiting for more of the story to
become available? If it is because of concern for the player then what was the
concern? What did he want to convey to the players? Did he want them to run and
take their money out of SOS? I’m confused here!
This place has an immaculate record. This nutty paranoid website owner talks
like “Bobby” is his “best friend”. He then sells him down the crapper under the
guise of responsible journalism. Of course other start-ups follow suit. “We are
for the player”. Garbage.
This poor excuse of a website (Weitzner) has used sensationalism in another
failed attempt to gain even a minute piece of the traffic that Bettorsworld now
enjoys. Even at the expense of someone he considered a friend. Let me tell you,
Bob is no friend of this clown now, you can bet on that. This self-proclaimed
Doctor of psychiatry is an insult to the medical world as well as the gaming
world. Think about it. What “real” doctor would make jokes about individuals
referring to them as physcotic and needing drugs such as lithium and prozac? Is
this a joke to this clown? The medical profession doesn’t make light of things
like this and certainly NEVER refers to people in public needing these drugs.
This is called professionalism. Think about it for a minute. Would you EVER use
a pychiatrist that makes fun of the same type of people he was suppose to be
treating. Recently I ask Dr. U, a REAL doctor with a REAL practice and asked his
opinion of this type of behavior. His reply was simply “unacceptable”. Maybe
thats why he is no longer allowed to practice medicine. It is doubtful whether
this pathological liar ever did. I certainly hope not.
I believe Weitzner’s problem is one of needing attention and not getting it
except through irresponsible acts and selling his so called “friends” once they
are of no use to them. Such is the case with SOS who stopped advertising on this
failing site long ago.
I could understand if there was a reason to immediately let the players know but
we felt there was not a need UNTIL more facts were received. The last thing we
wanted was to have hundreds of players pull their money from a place that has
had an impeccable payment record from day one! What advantage was it to scare
the players? No advantage. We feel strongly about the right of a book to protect
its name if there is no apparent danger to a player’s funds. If Weitzner’s
two-bit web site has a responsibility, it is to both player and sportsbook.
Understand, without one there is nothing. No players-no books. No books-No
players. Bettorsworld, in it’s typical conservative, well thought out decision
spent time on the phone evaluating what little info we had. We then made our
decision which we still stand by 100%.
Continuing on this same note, their claim is always “PLAYERS MUST KNOW THE
TRUTH”. However, it appears Weitzner feels the books don’t need to know the
truth. A post that resides on ******************** claims an email received from
Weitzner stated that Weitzner’s site receives 2 million uniques per month. This
is what he tells his advertisers. Many advertisers believe it. Most don’t. The
facts are as follows. Consider this.4 Years ago while I was browsing sites I
came across his site and noticed a traffic counter at the bottom of the home
page. The number that appeared lets say was 21100. The next day I returned to
the website and the counter read 22,500. I was aghast! How could this be I said?
Well I hit the reload button. Again and again and again. This counter apparentlt
was programmed to increment in fifties and hundreds! A trick to fool advertisers
and visitors alike as to the true amount of traffic the ghost town of a web site
receives. An ingenious way to rip people off Weitzner thought. I quickly exposed
his “trick” and within minutes the counter was removed never to return again.
Nice try.
You have done this industry a grave injustice. Thank God no one goes there so
the impact of your actions was minimal. SOS I am sure will not forget your
generosity in giving them the headlines they were looking for. Great for
business. Great for the industry.
Your actions are despicable. You are a con man extradonaire. At least you think
you are. The books are getting smart to your stupidity. They want results. Not
fluff.
All for the player. YEAH RIGHT!
Bettorsworld will always be the player’s advocate. We deal will the best books.
B’World weighs every piece info that might have consequences and then determines
what approach it should take. We take that job very seriously. Bettorsworld
believes its decision here is the correct one. Let other sites scream and yell
about how Bworld hides info and is in it for the money. We will continue to do
what we have done for over 3 years and done successfully. That is promote the
industry and protect the player. Think about it. Who has done it better? Nobody.
Let Weitzner sit in the corner and chew on his toes. We will continue to remain
at the top with no one a close second.
UHC Draws Near!
The UHC has already surpassed the number of entries last year by 15 or 20. We
are at about 60 strong and still growing. This contest allows each contestant to
view the other’s picks to insure integrity. Radio and newspaper coverage abound
