Which is it? Extradited for doing something in the US or deported for doing something in Antigua.

Which ever way it is, this brings up another reason to change passports. If you get deported, you'll get shipped back to where you come from. So if the US wants you for bookmaking, you could end up there for doing something silly elsewhere, not even a serious offense.

I can imagine federal agents setting someone up in a bar fight just to get him deposted from that country... straight back to the US

Cons - you'd been saying "change passports". What do you mean? Get a new passport and change your whole identity? If so, I don't think it's that easy to do that here in U.S. In the third world country, you could get 20 passports if you wish.

This might be off the topic a bit, but in addition to what I was saying regarding change of passports, I have a friend of mine from the Far East who used to be a professional entertainer in Japan had 10 different passports for immigration purposes.
During those times (1979-1985), it would be very difficult for someone to get a working visa in Tokyo for more than 6 months. What he did was used each 10 different passports (different identities) alternately on a 3 month stay duration.

Here in U.S., I haven't heard anyone did that before.

          Jeff and/or Brian,

Do either of you guys have any new information on the situation with Bobby? I spoke to Barbara (apparently Richard is off the island right now) last night and she told me that she would communicate any info as it was available to you guys. I completely understand, and agree with you, if you'd rather not post anything until you have 100 percent confirmation of its validity. Unlike your competitor on the other site, Bobby really is someone I consider a friend, as I had an opportunity to spend a lot of time with him when I was in Antigua. I appreciate any info you might have concerning this very unfortunate situation, and should you speak to Bob, please pass along my best wishes.

          Mark

I think he is suggesting live somewhere with more sensible gambling laws.

              Become a citizen.

Cut up the US passport. That sort of thing.

Pure Speculation on my part, but tell me what you think. IF Bob were paying and collecting on US soil with runners and a runner got caught and turned on him. If one of those clients was funneling money in and out of SOS to launder it, that would give the US govt. a money laundering leverage. Remember the Bank of Nevis getting shut off by the G-7 people. That kind of shut down would jeopardise all of the banking and Sportsbooks on the island.

Once again this is just speculation, on this subject I am not Intheknow.
