Goto, Island and sportsbet

are all three of these sportsbooks just online or do thry have phone accounts. I went to island site yesterdy and they didnt have baseball ilines posted . What gives?

GoTo and Island are definately online, I would rate them as average, not excellent and not bad, definately safe as far as I have experienced.

Island and Sportbet baseball lines come up somewhat later than others, around 11:30 Eastern I think.

All three offer phone service, as well as online wagering. I would caveat, however, that the phone service at Island can sometimes be slow, and I've been put on hold and had numbers changed on me after calling in. It is not my favorite place to call 3 minutes prior to game time. Sportbet and Island do, however, frequently post different lines from others on the IX, so if their lower online limits aren't a burden to you, I'd just assume play their numbers on the net.

First allow me to thank Jason, Sportshobby, and Bette for hopping in here and answering your questions. All three of the books that you mentioned, Island, Sportbet, and Goto do take wagers over the phone as well as the Internet. Whereas I do not represent Goto Casino, I can say that they are an established company with a lot to offer any player and I have never heard about any problems with customer's being paid.

It may be impeccable, but the reason I only rate Island, as well as GoTo, as average is because of the Monday only withdrawls. I am sure there is some sort of reason behind this, but I can't figure it out.
At least with the new neteller card, which is supposed to speed things up a bit, GoTo ignored the Monday only thing and did it for me on Saturday, but Island still held out for the Monday only rule. I guess its their own rule and they have the right to make whatever they want, but it sure seems weird to me?!?!

I should add that I did receive excellent phone service from Sportbet this past weekend, and I was pleasantly surprised to have been allowed to play additional money at the posted line after having played a game for the online max. It used to be standard that I play for the online limit, phone in for more, be put on hold, and have the number moved on me. Chester has even told me on the phone that I will get the number the clerk gives me and not necessarily the number on my screen, which is why I tend to play for the online limit before calling in, since I am so accustomed to being dealt a different number. I'm very glad to see that things are beginning to change for the "bettor".

Rest assured with the addition of the neteller card, our payouts will soon be seven days a week. I mentioned, a while back, that we will be moving to this system before regular season starts and we still plan to do so. Bette Midler, unfortunately, I've had the same experience with Island and Sportbet that you have, and it's kind of a catch-22. If I punch in the game for my online max of a dime and then call to get more on the game at the same number, I usually find that my dime bet has caused the line to change, or that it just beat a line change caused by another player. On the other hand, if I don't punch-in the dime first and just call and ask for the 3-dime limit on a game, I almost always never get the line on the software. Now, I just take the sure dime and hardly ever call.

I don't blame Chester, who is a straight shooter, for the problem; I blame the software. With the Unified Gaming software, he is blind as to moment-to-moment bets. When someone calls in a big bet, he has to first do a special check to make sure hasn't just been hit for a lot of money on the side that I want.

The solution, of course, is different software. And if I remember correctly, even Reality suggested as much for Island and Sportbet.

I've found the IslandXpress service to be very useful for playing IslandCasino and Sportbet over the phone. So far I have always been quoted the number on my screen, even though I know that this can be a minute or two delayed.

If you're chasing steam, that may be a different story.
