    so seeing England does the 3 way or worse totals, 2.5 is NOT standard

      Come on Cons, what about the obvious counter to your example when you are betting the under instead? All of a sudden the 3 line is in your favour then, isn't it? And even in your example of laying the chalk with a 2.5 line, if the game ends up going under you are out a lot more money than if you had bet Under 3 with a better money. I think it's important to look at all examples when evaluating your choices, not just the ones that work in one direction.

      At any rate, you don't have to worry. Any line I use from now on will be some sort of a half goal line (mostly 2.5, probably 3.5 in Norway and Belgium) ... I would rather have all my bets settled where I am retaining some juice rather than risk some instances where I am returning 100% of all monies received.

          He doesn't even bet on a lot of soccer, as far as I know, so not sure why he is complaining about lines in Belgium/Norway etc. anyway!
