  • Bettorsworld Retirement Benefits?

In the past couple of weeks, three Bettorsworld superstar posters--Reality, Devil, and J.R. Miller--have retired. Call me creative, but I gotta believe that it's more than a mere coincidence that these three guys decided, almost simultaneously, to give up their gigs as prominent BW contributors.

Now, why do most people retire? The answer, of course, is lucrative retirement benefits. Consequently, it is my hypothesis that these three guys were offered--and they acccepted--incredible retirement benefits from BW.

Now, because I am, as Reality astutely points out, a mere pseudo-intellectual, wannabe, my hypothesis could be way off-base. My dream of a mansion on the beach in Asia, with three hot, young babes answering my every beckoned call, all paid for by my Bettorsworld retirement package, may indeed be wishful thinking on my part. However, until I hear otherwise, I gotta believe that my personal Shangrila is just around the corner, courtesy of my fabulous, forthcoming BW retirement package.

There's a super-secret equation that determines eligibility and vesting. I can't give all the details, but the parameters include number of posts, number of times attacked verbally, number of defensive posts that are to be commended, number of times one used restraint, as well as the educational value of the information provided in posts.

J.R Miller, according to a BW confidante, has ended his posting career in this forum. Any day now, I suspect, one of the Hee-Haw Girls will make her way into this forum and issue a formal retirement notice on J.R.'s behalf.

According to rumors, J.R. plans to spend his BW retirement money attempting to prove that winners pay the juice. Consequently, instead of squandering the big bucks on hedonistic pursuits, which would be my style, he instead will spend the money by enlisting the aid of the Rand Think Tank.

          That's funny.

Actually, I really wanted you guys to humor J.R. a bit and try to keep him here. His NFL book really is tops, and he has a lot of good ideas.

Trying to make him humble was just too tall an order.
