  • I'm Finished with Premiereleague

Up to this point, I have been able to overlook their Fred Flintstone era software, but twice this week I got shut out of games due to ahem.......excess traffic. The kicker however is that the site has crashed about 5 times this week as well, and NOT at peak hours....Too many other books out there. Check please!

Junior44, I haven't played with Premiere League for a long time, so I can't comment. But, the software that bugs me is Unified Gaming. It's slow, times out, and regularly crashes. I currently play with three books--Go To, Island, and Sportbet--that use the Unified Gaming program. And I would advise those books to look for greener pastures as far as software is concerned.

Amen. I use these books mostly to find better lines than the 'faster' books..they often have some different prices on matchups
and are prompt on payment...but for pete's sake - please, please get some faster software or set the timeout longer!

Junior, I kind of like the software at Premiere League. Also, it has been fairly reliable to me.

The only problem I've ever had is an error message when I'm trying to enter a wager and get it confirmed. In all these cases simply hitting "refresh" on the browser has corrected the problem and allowed me to continue.

When Premiere League's software causes problems - and it could be better - you can always phone in your bets if desparate to get them in.

We would first like to appologize for the recent events when our site has been inaccessible. In fact, contrary to your belief it has absolutely nothing to do with the software. Over the past few days our internet link has gone down numerous times. We have been in contact with our ISP (and breathing down their backs over this) to resolve the problem. Well needless to say, the repair efforts have been slow since the very few knowledgeable technicians have all been unavailable during Carnival.

Unfortunately this does not resolve your wagering inabilities over the past few days but as Deac Doug suggested many of our clients had to call in their bets. We expect to have the link repaired any day now (assuming the alcohol has worn off ). To sum it up, we share your frustrations with the recent problems and much more. In fact we are upgrading to an even faster link just to avoid any future problems for football.

It is sad to see you leave us especially over an issue that truly is beyond our control. We know you have enjoyed our service in the past and will restore your confidence before long ( I am pulling out all the stops and using all of my local connections over this . Upon repair of the currently failing link, I will be the first to make mention on Betttorsworld.

In the mean time If I may be of any help please contact me at will.

            Regards

            Eddie

The software at Premiere League is indeed archaic. One only has to take a look at Carib or Olympic to see how it should be done.

Premiere is a top book, playable numbers decent limits and a hands on owner.I have no problems with their software except for the times it gives me an error message when submitting a play.No big deal.I,however,am waiting for my beeper which Eddie has now promised me twice.Im sure he has my request on a post-it note on his desk.

Ajax, you might try hitting the browser refresh when you get the messaage while submitting a play. It seemed to correct the problem for me.

Thanks for responding. I want to make it clear that the troubles mentioned above are the ONLY troubles I've experienced. I've never had a problem with a deposit, transfer, or payout. The lines are fine, grading is prompt, the clerks are friendly, etc. And, I can relate when you state that you are aware of the problems and they are "somewhat" out of your control. But until the software is changed and/or ISP problem resolved, I simply cannot play there. Also, there are certain times when I place wagers whereby phoning them in is NOT an option. I'm sure there are folks that can relate to THAT predicament. But please, by all means, keep us updated on the progress being made......Although I'm sure you know, listening to your customers' needs is crucial......

Well it's been a long week and we have finally isolated the the problem with the online interface. It seems a faulty router on our ISP's end has created the frequent system errors. As we said before these problems were beyond our control. They have assured us they will resolve all issues regarding our online service and performance should have improved as I am writing this message. Over the next few days we will be running anumber of tests to assure there are no more bugs.

Once again we appreciate your patience and will keep you posted. Once again I will assure you this is not a software issue especially since our software is no different than that used by a number of the books listed below.

I can assure we have worked fervently to resolve the issues and hope that all will be well from here on.

                        Regards

I think leaving Premiere is a mistake. I have dealt with them and as you mentioned there is never a problem w/payouts, lines, deposits and cust srvc. Also they are a responsive book, and I expect your mentioning this problem means they are working overtime on it. I think if you ever have a wager problem the best thing to do is call. I've dealt w/several books and I think Prem League is the best .
