  • This has to be asking alot of a book, but...

will any places out there be putting up a line on this years innagural Arena football 2's championship game, being played this Thursday Aug 10 and being shown nationally across the US on TNN?
Not talking about Arena football, which many books are starting to offer, but AF2, the minor leagues of the Arena League.
A bit of Miami Dolphins-like history could be made in this game, as Quad City is 18-0 and going for the perfect season in the championship game.
Like I said, this may be a bit much, but it never hurts to ask.

My goal is to find just one place...who wants to be the one, you know somebody will play the game if it isn't me

I would think it would be more than this, which is the reason I don't think I would bet it, and wouldn't bother calling one of the places to make me a line. I was just wondering if any place would have one.

Quad City this season averaged 67.1-29.6 points per game. They ended up 18-0, beat one team 100-3!!!, and beat the team they are playing in the finals both times 51-37 and 62-36. They are AWESOME, for what it is worth.

At least we(me) get to watch this game on TNN, and not some crappy ESPN, who screwed up both the games they had last week BIG TIME.

Couldn't find a line anyplace I looked, no big deal. I hope someone is watching this barnburner, this is even better than AFL games.

                    Jason,
Not near a tv. Is the game over? If so who won. I am actually curious to know now.

                    Thanks,
                    ss

It's over. Quad City won by 9 to finish the season 19-0. The final score was something like 68-59, I can't remember exactly. I tried to find a link for it, but no place has one.

TV played really well in this game. I never play a big favorite in football, but if forced to I would have layed up to 3 td's and still taken Quad City.
Their star player, Shon King, had 341 or so all purpose yards and 5 td's, which may not seem like that much in a college football game, but remember this field is only 50 yards long, so 341 is BIG. He had 2 td's on kickoff returns, 1 on a FG return, and 2 receiving. He won't be playing in AF2 next year, that's for sure
