Max- If someone vouches for a book you may jump on them. Like you did me on a different site when I posted that that I had received two payments from Abetz you said that I was full of bull and nobody can get through to David Abetz except for me. And then after you were paid you said thank you to osga and Abetz and that David was a class guy.
Max the knife is a classier guy then Leroy and maybe I am sensitive but I just don't forget people who try and slander me sorry!

The checks did not bounce because of GC having problems...the Bank of Nevis had problems with their correspondent bank. That was my understanding of the situation. As long as GC made good on the bad checks I see no reason to bash them (no pun intended). Intheknow stated that several reputable books have accounts with Bank of Nevis.

Grand Central Sports

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Grand Central Sports's bank has been placed on a blacklist by the G7's Financial Action Task Force (FATF). The FATF set the following countries' banks on this list, St. Kitts and Nevis, Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Cook Islands, Dominica, Israel, Lebanon, Liechtenstein, Marshall Islands, Panama and a host of other European and Caribbean countries.
Grand Central banks at the Bank of Nevis, International. LTD, who had a bank account at the Bank of New York for our North American customers. Due to the pressure applied on the Bank of New York by the FATF, The Bank of New York closed the Bank of Nevis' account on July 3, 2000. Unfortunately all checks written on the Bank of New York, that weren't presented for payment prior to June 30, 2000, will not be honored by The Bank of New York. Even though we have already remedied the problem with The Bank of Nevis, several of Grand Central's vendor's and customer's have in their possession, checks that can't be cashed.
We are in the process of contacting these customers and vendors and will replace these checks on Monday. THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN RESOLVED SO PLEASE DO NOT WORRY ABOUT FUTURE PAYOUTS VIA CHECK OR BANKWIRES!
We apologize for any inconveinence this may have caused anyone. If you have in your possesion a bank check from The Bank of Nevis Int, LTD., drawn on the Bank of New York, feel free to contact Customer Service so we may issue you a new check on Monday.
Sincerely,
Peter Jacoby

Max, I certainly do not think it was your intent to cast doubt as to the integrity of Grand Central, but unfortunately this is what transpired. My experience has been very good for the two plus months that I have done business with them. They are making a great effort to succeed in a very competitive business. They are courteous, professional, and very good at handling the most important aspect of our relationship. They pay when I request a withdrawal.
