  • Deposit that is not a cash advance..

can you guys tell me a site ( that is reliable) that will not charge the credit card as a cash advance...i would really appreciate it.

    Thanks

of course you should check with them first, but premiere league and or posttime handle credit cards as purchases rather than cash advances

of the two, my personal preference is PL as their interface is very fast although posttime gives you a 10% bonus on your money on thursdays

    i can recommend both

if you use one, e-mail me at azbob@home.com and perhaps you can toss the referral my way

this is a good question...keep in mind that if you withdrawl, the money will go back to the credit card first (up to the amount you originally invested)

    good luck

Be sure to check on sportsbook fees upon withdrawal as well. Post-Time, for example, charges a 5% fee when then credit back the money to your card.

The front end fees can be charged by your sportsbook and/or your bank. To be sure of avoiding the bank charge, always use a check/debit card instead of a credit card.

Greg is right. It usually depends on YOUR CREDIT CARD. It is uaually not something controlled my the book itself.

Actually, I'm pretty sure it does NOT depend on your credit card, but on how the retailer (or book) charges it. All cards allow for both types of transactions (the major difference being a cash advance starts ringing up the interest charges right away while the other does not)

Olympic definitely charges as a purchase not a cash advance (not sure if on subsequent they are cash but I can check if you request it)

azbob, that's puzzling. Their policy states that they will absorb the processing fee for credit card deposits, if they are over $500. This outoing 5% is stated to be IN ADDITION.

I know I never would have gone for it if I had taken the time to read the details and seen this. But I suppose it's my fault for not reading all the fine print.

Now how did you avoid it?

This is what my bank told my when I had a question about what Intertops was doing a while back. Can you redeem Fried Liver Points for cash?

No, but how about this for a payout: if you want to start a correspondance game I'll let you be White!

maybe posttime is in "flux" because of the recent merger

now they don't offer their thursday bonus upgrade (10%) if you upgrade with a credit card

looks like i will need another out for football until they get a bit more consistent

after their recent upgrade, i was locked out of my account until i called in and they told me my new password...not a huge hassle but it would have been nice if they provided some notice BEFORE the event instead of me trying to access for a few days with no success

it also depends on who the book uses to process there credit cards.......the decision is hardly ever up to the book!
