After a week in Las Vegas just like the Vegas posters told me I had no problem laying down some good size bets and actually met a old friend that is a manager of the sportsbook at Mandalay Bay. He tells me the scalpers/movers used to fill his seats on a daily basis and now it is dead in there sportsbook this time of year( except for Pete Rose who has been there for a few weeks )
He actually took me out one night to a locals joint ( The orleans ) which I was shocked was so big and the buffet was one of the best I had in Vegas I just never heard of the place. Anyway he told me they would accept very large bets there and sure enough I bet a dime on a total and 2 dimes on a side with no problem except that they both lost.LOL
I also put some dime wagers in at the stratosphere and they moved them 10 cents after I bet them but the manager remembered me from march madness and gave me a comp for 2 for the roxy's diner which was nice I thought. I did most of my betting in the Bellagio the seats there are very comfortable.Cannot believe I played craps with 100x odds (casino royale) .002 house advantage. So it seemed to me that no one cared if you bet it up out there and they actually had a bring it on attitude but of course I was just a tourist and do not know how it was a few months ago.
