Having now used Olympic a little, I fail to see what people find so good about it from a software sense?

A bit slow to get to stuff - can bet an amount of to win, has a minimum, navigation not amazing, but ok. Bad colors, so a bit hard to read, which slows people down.

You can't bet multiple games at once from what I have used.

Account review facilities look very good though, but don't have a long enough history to see how far back they go.

Freak, I like all the books you've listed, but for baseball I'd pick something else to avoid the 20 cent lines. Premiere should also have coop transfers with those you've listed - that's probably the right choice for baseball.

Landmark, I'd love to add a book or two from Curacao, but only if they get onto an odds feed. Wading through several different web sites, or calling to get rundows, is just too time consuming. What about the IslandXpress service?

            Rawhide thanks for rundown !!!!

Ronbets I like the carib setup, much easier to navigate thru, sos looked very simple by design, but hey as long as they pay, who cares what the site looks like.

Intertops, seemed to take forever to load up, too much high gloss graphics, but nonetheless good stuff.

Correct 20 cent lines for baseball is not where I will ever play.... Football different story. I love PL !!

Those that asked about the problem I had, I have it resolved. Took a lot of extra unnecessary steps but we got the issue resolved.

As for the Curaco books, does anyone here use any of them, I haven't dealt with any of them, and want to explore the SOS/CARIB/INTERTOPS books.

If you would add 1 more to any of those 3 which one from Curaco would you add and why....

I deal/t with a lot of books and never any in Curaco.

            Thoughts/Opinions appreciated.

                Curacao? Here is the deal.

1.) Royal Sports: Payouts - Free payouts anything more than $1000. Takes about 2-3 days fedex. Customer service - A+. Only drawback - no online wagering.

                2.) Pinnacle - very solid.

3.) Aces Gold/Sports Market - lots of betting options. Very, very solid.

***I'd been hearing a lot of postive comments about TOP OF THE WORLD but haven't tried it yet***

Bottom line, if I would had to try one yet in Curacao, Royal Sports would be my first stop.

                  Landmark95,

Does Legal Book take transfers from the other books at your location (Bon Bini)? I got the heave from one of the books there for saying the word bull$hit to one of their supervisors (long story but it really was bull$hit). I've only got a few pending bets on baseball win totals that will pay off at the end of the season and would like to transfer the money to you guys.

Could you list the books in your location you do transfers with (if any)? And if you could go tell Mike in Suite 4 he's a moron, I'd appreciate that as well (played there 2 years and never had a problem until this guy showed up).

                  Freak,

Pinnacle and Royal are great phone only books while Gameday and Gold Medal are really good internet/phone books.

                    Mad Dog,

Although we the books know each other pretty well in Curacao, we normally have not done a lot of transfers between each other, but speak to us when you are ready and I am sure we can arrange something.

Are you kidding me? Some of our best customers that given us the B.S. word (and much worse) when they were upset about one thing or another, we fixed it, they stayed and kept playing. I guess we have come a long way from the smoke filled rooms and chalkboards in this business when a guy can't let off a little steam now and then, once in a while is ok, anyway. I hope the Thought Police don't take control down here, when a guy can't speak his mind now and then, it's one of the things I miss least about the states. -Larry

                        Freak,
I think you'll have to add another book in Curacao, since you mentioned earlier that you are active with Game Day. Blake and the boys reside in Bon Bini.

Landmark95, when I was in Curacao in March, I met Ken and Gary. Rick of Gold Medal took me to a restaurant/bar, and I got to listen to Gary play saxophone in a jazz band. Rick and Charlie of Sports Market/Aces Gold vouched for the integrity and solidity of Legal Book/5 Card Charlie's, and if those two guys, who are as honorable as can be, vouch for someone, you know it's true. Then, when I wrote about my trip and mentioned Legal Book in BW, Jeff decided to put them on the Bettorsworld Cream of the Crop List.

However, though Legal Book has a 10-cent line, in the two days my account has been open, I've yet to see one even slightly different betting line. All of the lines are "tweeners," which are utterly useless to a shopper with 30 accounts. If I never see anything different at 5 Card Charlie's, I'll end up closing the account.

If they would sign up for an odds feed, we could see their lines and judge for ourselves.

Reno, obviously we knew who you were when you joined us the other day, and we didn't try to limit you on our normal online limit of $5,000 for baseball sides, we're ready to welcome your action anytime you see a price you like. How many other joints are dealing $5,000 for baseball sides on the internet, even to experienced pros like yourself?

I wish you could have been with us last year when their was more volatility in the baseball numbers, you would have had enough different numbers to play than you could have chucked a stick at. But except for the earlier part of this year our lines have pretty much settled into the norm, (you know the baseball lines are not jumping around too much like previously), and we don't start moving the numbers up and down because some guy bet 3-5 dimes on a side (whether he is sharp or square).

I dunno, with upwards of 30 accounts, you have a good feel for the industry. How many other places offer lines that differ tremendously from ours? And if they do, how far are they off from the consensus? We offer tight lines that all players can bet into. We do not necessarily need to cater to scalpers/shoppers, because we have bettors that run the full spectrum, and when they see a price for team they wanna hit, they can hit it for up to $5,000 in baseball and (of course higher for football on weekends). I'm sure if you keep tracking us, you'll come across something you like and then you can pop it at your preferred number.

Freak, we do not currently offer overnight betting, but we will start doing it in mid-August for limits of $300. We currently allow a maximum of $1,000 on baseball totals.

S/Hobby, we may use a line feed for the overnight, but I can't say for sure at this point.
