I was kind of hoping that it was them. But I do tend to doubt it. And if it was them, where were they yesterday? Is there anyone who can determine if the Pokers played those totals on Friday?

The Pokers, because of government heat, are probably through for the season. And the Koshers just quit. The Koshers, I am told, had a very good baseball seaon.

At the risk of getting flamed, trashed and put in my place I'm going to ask a question. Why do a significant number of posters on this sight obsess on the Poker Players? This is meant to be a productive question and is not meant to arouse the Poker Groupies...Scotty

Fair question. Maybe some of us earn with them scalping. Maybe some of us follow them like a guide dog. Oh ya, maybe some of us move for them.

Ronbets, that's exactly what I've heard. And even the mover I talked to yesterday had heard nothing about any plan to resume playing in the immediate future. I can only go by what my sources tell me.

Scott, some players are bandwagoners who want to bet the Poker plays. Last year, the Pokers had an outstanding baseball season that nearly buried some sportsbooks. Other players want the Pokers to return because they create huge line moves that scalpers love. For example, when the Pokers quit a few weeks ago, many scalpers who depend upon their moves hit the sidelines. Even Boomer, at least temporarily, left the business.

I'm still hanging in there, albeit only by a thread. If there is one upside to taking a break for awhile, I at least got the lawn mowed, which should keep the Healt Dept. off my case for another six weeks. Now, to go through the fridge and throw out that carton of milk that expired in May and clear the sidewalk of all that newsprint that been accumulating at the bottom of my steps. All I need now is a shave and a shower, and I'm ready to start dating again. Please come back guys.....PLEASE.
