  • Just in. Please help!!!

The Interactive Gaming Council asks your support in relaying the following
message to your US patrons as soon as possible.

    Player Action Alert

Once again, Congress is trying to take away your right to gamble online.
    >
The Republican leadership of the US House of Representatives, at the
request of the Christian Coalition and other elements of the religious
    right, is
considering bringing H.R. 3125, the Internet Gambling Prohibition Act, to
the floor of the House of Representatives for a vote sometime next week.
    >
    > You can stop them.
    >
Let your Member of Congress know that you value your right to gamble
    online.

TO STOP THIS LEGISLATION, IT IS URGENT THAT YOUR REPRESENTATIVES HEAR FROM
YOU BY EITHER PHONE OR FAX. YOU CAN BE CONNECTED TO YOUR REPRESENTATIVE BY

CALLING 202-225-3121. IN ADDITION, YOU CAN SEND a fax at the Internet
Consumers' Choice Coalition website. The url is http://www.capweb.net/iccc
There is no cost to you for this service.
    >
    > If we can generate enough faxes, we can stop this horrible legislation
from becoming law. But we need your help. Please visit the ICCC website and
    send
one of the prepared letters, or draft a letter of your own. The site is
easy to use, and extremely effective.

I'm putting this back to the top because it is important.

If everyone who reads this forum sends in a fax it CAN make a difference. It only takes a few hundred to get them thinking, a few thousand and they will shelve the matter.

If they pass this bill they might be able to make life difficult for many people here. At the minimum there will be inconveniences. At worst, they will succeed in cutting off the offshore business.

This thing looks like it is coming to a vote withyin a week. I hope everyone took the time to write. (5 minutes) We only need 136 votes to kill this thing.
