224 years ago a bunch of Patriots got together and signed the Declaration of Independence. They wanted to make a more perfect government. One that esqued the goals of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Today, the greatest, most pwerful country in the world cowtows to religious groups, groups with powerful lobbies and a congress that is elected by these self serving groups.
They pass laws that make the Jerry Falwell's of the world happy. The buying of votes is the most important thing to these senators and congressmen and women.
What happened to my liberties, my pursuit of happiness. Bookmaking is an honored profession in England and most other parts of the world..... Not the U.S.A.
Guys like Kyl and the rest of the anti-gambling do gooders are trying to decide what's good for me.. Am I not smart enough to make my own decisions.. Do I really need someone to tell me how to enjoy myself..
I've never understood what I was doing wrong as I stood in front of the Judge, accused of bookmaking when casinos in Vegas could do the same thing. After all is this not one country... The U.S.A.
You take my tax dollars and tell me I can buy lottery tickets or play horses, Jai-alai, dogs maybe even camel racing but I can't play with an on-line casino or an offshore sports book..Just who the hell do you think you are... Do you think you have enough jail space to lock up all the gamblers and bookmakers in the GOOD OLE U.S.A.
