  • OSGA ANY INFO OR COMMEMTS?

    OFF SHORE GAMING ASSOCIATION...

SOMEBODY E-MAILED ME IF I KNEW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS ORGANIZATION.

CAN SOMEONE FILL IN THE BLANKS ABOUT OWNERSHIP AND WHAT THEIR PURPOSE IS?

    ANY COMMENTS ON THEIR LEGITIMACY?

DO THEY CLAIM TO GO AFTER DEADBEAT BOOKS IN THE INTEREST OF THE PLAYER?

ANYBODY HAVE A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH THEM TO COMMENT ON?

ANY INPUT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

I HAVE BEEN ADVISED THIS IS NOT THE INDEPENDENT MONITORING ORGANIZATION THAT IT PORTRAYS ITSELF TO BE.

ANYBODY HAVE ANYTHING TO ADD,POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE?

      Reality,

I know very little about this OSGA. The only thing I've seen them do is side with the books in every dispute.

pretty hard to ever trust corporate 'self-regulation' isn't it? We know what that usually means...

I posted up with a book endorsed by OSGA.

The guy that referred me had a minor problem with the book and I know for a fact that OSGA immediately E-mailed (then called) and got the problem resolved.

It is nice to know that when a dispute arises with a book that you have someone with a public forum to back you up (if you are right of course).

I know that Jeff of Bettorsworld has a policy of only accepting advertisers that agree to let Bettorsworld assist in resolving any disputes.

This is no more than OSGA does.

For me, if I run into a problem (which I have not in a long time), it is nice to know their is someone willing to investigate and help.
