If you watch the lines move it is not very often that they reverse after the steam hits. So, I don't think the Pokers are scalpers because if they were the line would reverse faster than it went up if they would be bombing with double the action.
As far as following the steam and haveing a winning record you would have to keep track of the games with the big line moves (?injuries) and if you could still get the original # you might do OK.
You could go to the RX site and look in the archives for the wise guy plays and try to put together a won-loss record.

I knew the Pokers wouldn't quit this early in the season. They seem to take a break and come back in full force. I can't wait till they come back because I have been getting killed since they left.

I would say that they are the single reason there is a 20 cent line this season.
