Do you guys think that if I used Western Union as opposed to checks from Easybets, it would be safer, both for time and easy of cashability?

WU is fine, but make sure they send it from an individual name-not Easy Bets the company.
The thing that bothers me the most about this whole thread is that there seems to be no trust towards EasyBets at all. If you can't trust a bookmaker what does that tell you? Obviously it's time to move on....

I didn't want to get involved in this thread at first for the reason that what I'm gonna say had been said several times (forgive me Reno ). For the sake of Pablo and everyone, here is my last and final opinion.

We will start from the time when you only had a few options of where to send your money. I said few options not in terms of offshore existence but everyone was new to you. Besides, your worst fear was, are you going to be PAID? This was the time when WWTS had some arrangements to make with the Feds, SOS was still beginning to emerge in the industry, WSEX was already been around but not worth to test, SDB Global was one of the well knowns but got busted by setting-up an office in Miami, Premiere League was around the corner still trying to build a good rep, Post Time was nothing yet but the name itself, GSC which is now known as Betmaker, Paradise Sports was going down but nobody wanted to admit, Victor Chandler was in the process of buying another offshore (which I forgot the name), William Hill which everyone knows is solid as a rock but still had a hard time competing with other offshores when it comes to American sportsbetting, Canbet which rules differ from Antigua offshores (more strict), etc., etc., etc.

Easybets was one of my very first. Their software is exactly the same as SIA (sports interaction) but I didn't care since you have to start somewhere and take a risk. Allan Weinrib, Sandra Brown, Roby, Tim were the people who run the show and ever since I started playing with them, these people I meantioned are professionals as you would ever thought. I always get paid in two different ways. Cashiers Check which was drawn by Wells Fargo Bank (didn't bother to ask) as long as it is good and W. Union which I always get the next day. Customer service, I agree it's quite poor and that was the area I believed that cost them to go down the hill. I remembered there was a time I called-in my wager and after ten minutes I logged-on and noticed that my wager wasn't in my pending bet. I called them again and ask why and the clerk told me that they are too busy and he couldn't do it. I almost fell off my seat when I heard that. Another incident was a cancelled bet. Bottom of the fifth inning my team was ahead by 4 runs and there was a change of pitcher in the beginning of the game, I got the cancellation when the game was already in progress. I called Allan Weinrib himself (the big boss) and he told me I'm sorry for cancelling it late.

Had they taken cared of their customers well and management itself, Easybets should be one of the most promising ones. I decided to pull my account when they started setting a limit of $250 max. That was a real joke for me. To end this long story of mine, my suggestion is just like any other one. Why give yourself a hard time since there are so many solid, good ones right now. Just pull your account and I'm sure they will not get any better. Good luck to all!!!

How long does that Western Union thing take to go through? I've never used it. Didn't Easybets screw someone around and take a while (or lose it) on one of those WU? Any thoughts? And when going to collect the WU, do you need an ID, is there a certain "safe limit" to pull out each time without being scrutinized?

Customer service is a big priority to me. I don't need a yes sir or no sir, but don't talk to me like I'm a 2 yr old. and thats what I got from EB. Now I'm with GCS and I couldn't be more happier. Their people treat you like whales even when you ain't. Also, I'm sleeping better at night.

I finally received a check from Easybets today. It had been 22 days since I requested my first check from them. I asked for checks three times in that week. Today one came, but it is for the third withdrawal I made.
                    6/14
                    6/16
                    6/19

I received the amount for the payout that was approved/confirmed on the 19th. Any ideas of why?

And also, the check is from the "Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce", and the back has a stamp where the endorsement line is that says 'Deposit Only'. Am I supposed to sign in that same area? Someone help! This is turning out to be a real piece of work. Thanks in advance.

It took 22 days before you saw any $$$$?
Why are you still playing there? That's
inexcuseable. I don't care what kind of
variety they supposedly offer in their
lines. It was time to bail out of there
along time ago. What's up with the "for
deposit only" check? Are these people
                      serious...Give me a break!

I just don't understand this "for deposit only" deal. What is their purpose for that?

You should've seen the look on the bank tellers face this afternoon when I asked her where to sign on the back, next to "Deposit Only". She had never seen such a thing. I wonder if that is so the sportsbook can bide some time to get funds into their bank account. Hmm...

                            Pablo,
If you don't mind me asking. How much was
this check for? A few dimes or less? Just
                            curious...

JohnnyD, you have not replied on illegal proceeds yet, am still worried. I e-mailed ezbets last nite and was straight to the point about that check. You can actually tell when you getting a run around or atleast I can, that is when I called them. will get back after I recieve a response on taht e-mail.

It was for $102.00! I made several small withdrawals to see what would happen, and much to my horror I am getting shafted. The other checks did not come today, both for similar amounts.
