Piss poor customer service. I made a bet, hit the submit button, waited over a minute for it to process with the confirmation screen. Instead, it said something about 'Data Missing' and to repost. I right clicked and reloaded the screen, not knowing it was resubmitting my wager. I realized this when my current funds were low. I called Easybets not even a minute later to have the repeated wager cancelled. Allison at Easybets thought it was funny (I could tell with the snickering after everything she said). She said "there is nothing we can do about it". I informed her it was their servers fault, not mine. Now, keep in mind easybets has been having server difficulties for over a month now. She said there is nothing they could do. I questioned this....in fact it was only a $200 wager, I was placing one of them, I just wanted the other one erased. She said because "YOU did it online, it is YOUR fault." I said "is it really worth $200 to lose a customer and have him tell everyone else negative things about your company? She didn't care. Well, it's funny when i asked to talk a manager how most of them were out today (Wednesday's must be like Sunday's for those in Ireland or Antigua or wherever the hell I called). She talked to a man, in mumbled tones, for a couple minutes, then informed me they can't do anything at all. Funny that I pounded them for over a dime last week and I finally had a losing day yesterday...they must think I picked a shaky game and this is their way of "getting back" at me. Well, good job Easybets, enough people in Bettorsworld have talked badly about your service in the past year, I am just posting a fresh NEGATIVE article about your shady @ss company. $200 stinkin dollars. I hope I win and withdraw "both" of my wins tonight.

Dear Paul,
We at Easybets do understand of your grievances and disappointment, for not taking care of your request professionally.
Basically, she was just following strictly to our in-house rules, whereby any bet placed online will stand. She did not know that the effect was so huge and could result in damaging our business relationship.
We have a Supervisor on duty every shift and she might have thought that this was a pretty straightforward problem and she could have had handled it well.
If you have re-clicked and re-submit the bet then the system will take your bet twice. This was the whole scenario after we have investigated your bet and it was true that the system did accept your bet twice. Well, if you have taken a step further by alerting us through email and we do have a specialize personnel to answer all those queries. This guy will check your bet then he/she will send it to the appropriate department to finalize your problem. If, you could have done that then you have save your time and hassle.
Well, now your both bets have won and we are not sure, whether you would like us to cancel those bets or not? However, we will honour those winning bets and the $$$ has been given to your account.
Third issue, with regards to our server problem and let us take this opportunity to re-phrase your statement. Yes, we did have problem when we refurbished our web page early of the year but it have been dealt with immediate effect by increasing the bandwidth. However, if due to ISP provider line congested then 'God Helps' with the speed...and maybe at that time you were there and logged in to place your bet then resulted to the error.
Yes, we understand the important within the client platform represented by Bettorsworld and the Sportsbook themselves. No matter, how well Sporstbook operators place themselves in the market, there will be always their odd occasion where a client may feel ‘Ripped Off’.
Past is always a Past, and we can only strive to do our best and try to serve our valued customer to the best effort possible.
Easybets do apologize again for any inconveniences and any doubts that you have encountered with us. If should you have any more queries then please do not hesitate to email us at info@easybets.com
Best Regards,
Easybets

"Well, now your both bets have won and we are not sure, whether you would like us to cancel those bets or not? However, we will honour those winning bets and the $$$ has been given to your account."
Now do you HONESTLY think I would want winning bets cancelled? Especially after Allison just thought it was so amusing that I submitted my bet twice, and...as she put it "there is nothing we can do. It is YOUR fault." I hope the people at Easybets don't think it's honorable to have added those funds to my account. After she stated she would not void my second bet, it stood. I never had any intention of cancelling my first bet at all. There is no reason for you to note in this forum that you will honor my winning bets....I'd say it's a no-brainer; someone wins a bet they place, they receive money.
Between Allison's antics (she did NOT let me speak to a Supervisor of any sort, even though you stated there is one on every shift and I asked her twice to speak to one), and the slow pay of my winnings (waiting for checks for the third week now, none of which are for over $105), I am becoming upset.
All I ask for is courtesy, and I am glad you apologized on her behalf. Hopefully the issue of slow paying doesn't deter me from bringing you more business in the future. I will see when my payments come. I hope to have good things to say about Easybets next time I post in this forum.

Just to add a quick note here:
I never re-clicked the submit button. The bet screen timed out and turned into an all white screen saying "Data Missing" and in small print said to reload the browser. I was assuming that the current page timed out and hadn't actually processed. That's how it works on most other sites with submit buttons, gaming sites or otherwise. When I right clicked the now all white popup window I chose "refresh". I never hit the submit button twice, but it registered in your server log as me hitting it twice. I have no reason to lie. It was a wager for $200.
And one more question/comment...are you saying that if I emailed Easybets instead of calling Easybets...my situation would have been resolved differently? That doesn't make any sense at all. Sometimes I email Easybets and I don't get a reply for 2 or 3 days. That's no big deal for most things I ask about, but it would be strange to use it for a customer service role in an immediate manner. I thought calling would be easier. Some of the gentlemen I talk to there are very friendly to me. Allison, however, was not.
Let me know if you ever make any changes to bet submission in your software; it would be appreciated.

Easybets was the first book I ever used and for the first 1 1/2 years I was very happy with their service. Since then it has been all down hill though. I have had problems getting a credit card credited back properly ( 4 weeks and a dozen E-Mails and it was finally resolved), Had payouts slow to arrive and had numerous E-Mails go unanswered. Their new software is a joke ( slow and unreliable) and it takes them forever to credit wins ( up to 24 hours). For the past year I have maintained only a small balance there and done most of my bussiness elsewhere. Well a couple days ago my account Balance fell to $0 (don't you hate when that happens? ) and I have decided not to re-fund my account. I should have stopped using them at all a year ago.
There are too many Books that offer high quality service ( Canbet and Olympic are my faverites) to waste my time with Easybets.

Is this a joke ? Any last bit of credibility this company had just went out the window with that statement.
What easybets management should of wrote was sorry for the piss poor attitude of the clerk who has no idea what poor customer service or a posting board can do to a sportsbooks reputation and if whether or not you wanted 1 or 2 plays on this paticular wager (we don't know)we have credited your account for both with our apoligizes.
I will advise all to stay away from this place..........

We do appreciate krackman for showing us on how to reply but we would like to deliver the message, whereby if a bettor lose they will make noise but if they win, are they going to make a big fuss. Most of the time, the bettor will not says anything.

I was not making a big fuss about losing, or keeping quiet about winning. I made the bet with the intention of winning (isn't that the point?), and wanted the 2nd wager cancelled due to the server problems. Yes I did win the bet, and yes I am still talking about it. I am not keeping anything "quiet" or hidden. I know my bet stands, I know Easybets credited my winnings. Those are all facts. The disrespect I was shown on the phone and the fact the server does have problems were my reason to make this post.
If Easybets starts paying out on time then I will come back in this forum and commend them for a job well done. I am still waiting for checks to come. Asked for them about three weeks ago. If the slow pay method they have becomes fluid again I will definitely note that to the forum. This forum is to educate, not mudsling.

I've had cheques from Easybets and they are slow but they do make it eventually... I actually called once and asked about it... It was 20 days from the day they marked it as sent in their system... They say 3 weeks for delivery... Low and behold, it was in my mailbox the next dayWhat I don't understand is why it has to be mailed from Malayasia when they are in Antigua. And why is it emitted from a Canadian bank? Just wondering... Maybe someone out there can answer this question...
Yeah, they upgraded stuff in February and since then it has been better but the speed of their software is still not up to the industry standard.
Easybets should be commanded for a variety of bets they made available during Euro 2000, some of them were not to be found anywhere else...
Customer service needs a refreshing course in customer service in my opinion, but a book that pays is a book that pays.
May all your bets be winnersMay all your bets be winners
