Max,
Are you or someone you know personally being slow-payed?
Reason I ask is because I've taken 3 withdrawals from 3 different Perplexa books this month and all were on time(one of which was a credit which hit my card in 2 days. I also have another on the way if anyone would like to know if it gets here). So right now I'm a bit confused. Between the posts here and on the Rx site, one gets the impression that the Perplexa ship is sinking fast, yet the Fedex truck keeps stopping at my door.
I would appreciate it if anyone with personal experience could shed some light on this.
thanks,
rfd

Max,
If they ever bring back the Spanish Inquisition you definitely have a bright future in front of you. BTW, you still haven't mentioned which book is slow-paying you.
But for anyone who has money at Perplexa books, the books were: 5 Dimes(right before they crashed),Abetz and Aloha
As Fred mentioned, what we need are some facts. I am obviously concerned, since I have money at Perplexa books, but I can't help but look back at the recent situation with Premiere League and wonder if this isn't being blown out of proportion.
Once again, if anyone is presently being slow-payed(or being payed for that matter) by a Perplexa book I would really appreciate hearing about it.
thanks,
rfd

rfd, you're right, we need the facts. The best way to get them, and the best way to avoid the sensationalism, is to have a representative from these books come into the forum and provide those facts.
I know this can be a brutal bunch; but promptly addressing such concerns here is better than ignoring them.

NOBODY WANT'S TO SEE THE PLAYERS PROTECTED MORE THAN ME.
ON MORE THAN ONE OCASSION I HAVE GIVEN A BIASED ENDORSEMENT TO A NUMBER OF BOOKS.
YOU MAY OR MAY NOT AGREE WITH MY POSTS OR THE TONE OF MY POSTS SOMETIMES BUT I WOULD LIKE TO BELIEVE I HAVE ENOUGH CREDIBILITY WHEN I ENDORSE SOMEONE.
I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE DINNER TONIGHT WITH THE TWO OWNERS OF ISLAND AND SPORTBET.
MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT THEY ARE FRIENDS OF MINE AND I AM BIASED TO THAT END,BUT I HAVE A LOT OF FRIENDS IN THIS BUSINESS WHO I DON'T ENDORSE BECAUSE MY INTEGRITY IS EVERYTHING TO ME.
I HAVE NO PROBLEM ENDORSING THESE TWO FINE BOOKS.
SPORTBET AND ISLAND DO THEIR OWN PAYOUTS.
THEY HAVE THEIR OWN SERVERS.
AND SOON I HOPE THEY WILL HAVE NEW COMPUTER SOFTWARE TO BETTER MANAGE THE SPORT WAGERING SIDE OF THE BUSINESS.
THESE ARE TWO FRIENDS WHO MET IN COLLEGE AND EACH HAVE STRONG BUSINESS BACKGROUNDS WHICH IS WHY THEY RUN THEIR SHOP WITH A BUSINESS LIKE ATTITUDE.
IF YOU MET THEM,THEY EVEN LOOK LIKE WALL STREET.
THEY ALSO HAVE TREMENDOUS INTEGRITY AND LOYALTY AND THATS WHY THEY HAVE NOT THROWN UNIFIED GAMING UNDER THE BUS.
THEY ARE EXTREMELY SUCCESSFUL, AND MAY HAVE A MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT TO THAT END IN THE NOT TOO DISTANT FUTURE.
I ONLY FELT COMPELLED TO MAKE THIS POST BECAUSE THEY ARE UNJUSTLY BEING LUMPED INTO THE UNIFIED GAMING MESS.
THIS IS A GREAT BOOK THAT WILL ONLY GET BETTER WITH THE PASSAGE OF TIME...

Reality, I believe you are right regarding Island Casino and Sportbet.com. I play with both books, and Chester, whom you apparently know, is a true BM and not one of those clone-joint monkeys who moves on air. Now that these books offer daily pay-outs, all they need to do to fully satisfy me is to improve their phone wagering.
