Huge Props to 5Dimes

Ok with all the bad stuff lately, how about some good stuff for a change.

I have a huge parlay riding on a tennis match which started today and was suspended to be finished tomorrow. Everything else in the parlay has come off so I wanted to hedge on this last matchup. Problem - Nobody is gonna give you a line on a match that has already started.

Well Problem solved. I called up 5Dimes, spoke to Carlos and he came up with a line for me and had no problem taking my action.

These guys may have gone down, but they are back up and with this kind of service ought to be around for a long time.

Phil, I read where Hingis was 4-1 at the regent casino in Summerlin.I make her 1-4.

MLS, I bet with Jason at the Dunes .He is the greatest.I think if an out doesn't have a bm compentent enough to make a in progess line,they should not exist.

Why? If match is suspended because of the weather the books have all the time to come up with the odds. Why does one have to call them and ask to do a favor?

When I was making tennis lines I always posted
odds for suspended matches during big tournaments. It is just natural.

By the way, AYCE is it a "sucker type" of a bet?

And Phil,
I would like to know a few things. When you called 5Dimes, did you just say I want to place a bet on this match, give me a line? Or you said I want to place some significant amount on this match, or you actually told them which side you wanted to bet? Thanks.

Alec - i called and told them i wanted to bet the match but that it had already started. I believe I mentioned I was looking to put a dime or so on it and then he quoted me the odds, before I said which player i wanted. By the way it was Ilie and Black (needed to get on Ilie as I had Byron already)

I agree that this ought not to be a big deal but apparently it is. I called a bunch of other places, here and in aussie land and couldn't find anywhere else that would put up odds on it for me. As it turns out that was a good thing since I would have just hedged more and since my original guy won, that would have just cost me more money.

Railbird - wow did the Regent really offer 4:1. That's huge. I believe the IP opened her 3:1 which is also masssive. Hearing stuff like this just makes me want to move to Sin City full time
