  • How solid is Aces Gold?

If you had to choose and had an option to try it out (on your first time around), what route are you going to take? Aces Gold or W.W.W. (World Wide Wagering)?

Funny you should mention this. I was just thinking today if I ever stop doing what I do and could only have three books just for fun, they would be:

    Aces Gold
    Del Mar
    Olympic

Not to offend anyone just all things considered.

Booma' - there is always a reason for something. Can you give one valid good reason why Aces is on top of your list? I already did a survey on them and they do offer free payouts but their W. Union transaction withdrawal is only good for one dime a day and if I understood it correctly even W. Union payouts is for free (I mean they will cover for it). Was I misinformed or you could confirm this for me? Thanks much pal.

May I add, they will cover any payouts for free as long as you keep a minimum of $500 in your account. The moment I heard that, just couldn't believe it. Too good to be true.

They're just a class organization as are alot of others, but Aces Gold is CONSISTENT.

Payouts are not an issue ever as they're as quick as they get, they take transfers from almost everybody, their software is ultra-reliable, their customer service guys are nice and easily understood, they let me get off the phone faster than any other book when I call into Sports Market, especially at crunch time and never ever put me on "hold" to play with the lines, they take a big pop (ten dimes) without flinching, they give me 20% re-up bonuses when I bank wire, they move their lines alot.

There UDog, I think I covered it. Need I say more.

Underdog7, I'm surprised that someone like you, who has been a long-time BW poster, would even pose such a question. It has been repeately emphasized in this forum that Aces Gold/Sport Market is as good as it gets. Simply put, they are a FANTASTIC sportsbook.
World Wide Wagering is a good sportsbook, but absolutely every bettor will do himself a big favor by playing at Aces Gold/Sports Market.

Again, for the umpteenth time, if someone has a question like this, do a search to find out what has already been posted in BW regarding your subject.

In the case of Aces Gold/Sports Market, your search will yield rave after rave.

Reno - excuse my ignorance pal. Yes, I might be a long time BW member but I just couldn't remember every single thread of it. If it had been repeatedly posted then it just flew over my head and just couldn't remembered it. Since work gets busy sometimes, there were times I couldn't even had a chance to glance on this site. Those might be the weeks or months that were posted. Nevertheless, had I remembered it I will still ask for any advice just for the safe side of it. This is an open forum pal, ask what you wanta and hope for the best answer.
By the way, since yourself is not a newcomer so we speak, who originated the thread, How solid is CRIS (Costa Rica International Sports)? Hope you remembered and good luck to you.

May I add my friend, I didn't ever remember a thread of someone asking a comparison between Aces Gold and World Wide. If there was one then again accept my apology. For Christ sake, give me a break.

Things change quickly in this industry. Just because a place was deemed solid 6 months ago, doesn't mean something hasn't changed in the interim. I think it is valid to ask the question again. At the beginning of the year, 5 Dimes was touted as solid by all accounts. Look at what they've just pulled this past week.

I for one like continual reinforcement.

Long time "no hear" FatBoy. Nice to hear from you again. Since questioning became the topic here (lol) then, how is your relationship with Easybets? Are you still with them? Remember those good old days when there were only three to four shops listed here in BW and Easybets is one of those. They just went down the hill. S.O.S. was the "superstar" that time and now if you look at the creme of the crop listed below, you will just go nuts on where to play. Good luck to you!!

Note: How's the good old buddies? Clipper, Dogs that Bark, Joser???? , MisterOdds (has his own web site), Tim.

Udog, I cashed out with Easybets last year, but re-upped this year due to some alluring golf matchups. Only keeping a small balance though.

As of now, I'd have to say Carib is the best all around book that I've played with. SOS, Wsex, and Olympic are all close seconds'

Just signed on with Dunes. Have heard good things.

                            Udog,
The guys that run Aces/Sports market are old school BM's from the SoCal area. They run an honest shop and do the things that make a player wanna play there,ie great payouts, nice bonuses, strong lines and a fair shop. When these guys opened up in Curacao they had 4 people answering the phone in a office about the size of my living room. The old saying, good things come to good people, well there you go.

Dont know much about WWW. Just know of the ten books i play with offshore there not one of them. Have a good one Udog.

Fat Boy, the problem--and it is a major one this time of year--with Olympic and SOS is that they use a 20-cent baseball line. These are good books for sports OTHER than baseball.
