Reno, I fully agree with you my man. Governments will steal your money with no due cause. Moreover, people will come to the government's defence, claiming that you and I should pay all our taxes just as the 'law' says we should.

The whole thing is a joke. The US gov't is a fascist regime that has already turned into a totalitarian police-state. Trust me, I lived there for two years. I have never seen people live under such oppression as I have seen there. OK, it was Washington State, but it's still the same country nonetheless. I have lived in four countries thus far and the least freedom is enjoyed by those residing in the US. And gambling winnings are only the tip of the iceberg...

Cons, you are so right. Furthermore, I don't believe income tax is even constitutional in this country. Also, there was no income tax in the USA prior to some time in the 20th century (Wasn't it instituted as a supposed "temporary" measure to raise money for World War 1?) And yet, brainwashed idiots who buy into the patriotic propaganda feel it's their duty to pay taxes.

When I was a kid growing up in SoCal, California sales tax was 4.0%. Now, it is 8.0%. It never ends. It just gets worse and worse. The government takes more and more of your money and gives you less and less freedom.
