  • Action Sports/Tout Connection

I recall seeing Action sports advertised along with a tout organization. It
led me to believe the tout had a piece of Action Sports, but I can't for
the life of me recall the touts name. Anyone recall?

At one time or another, Joe worked with several off shores. The one that stands out in my mind was Casino of the Americas, where I believe he was the primary owner. That casino folded and I'm unsure if the players were paid, stiffed, or if their accounts were transferred during sale to another book. I'm unsure if Joe had ties to Action...Anyone?

COA was bought out by(withholding name.) After he bought them he closed them down and paid everybody like 30 cents on the dollar. Evidently this was agreed to by all clients.

Heard Joe may have put about a points-worth of opinion in his lines, and had too much one-sided action...bad numbers=bad pay...

Joe is a stand up guy in my experience.(the only one from an owner's perspective in that whole organization.) They did have some fine people running the numbers(when Joe didn't tell them what to post). I would like to have him posting his picks against JD. That's entertainment.

P.S. It would be even better with audio.
Studderin Joe Gravazzi VS Screamin Johnny DeMarco(of course Johnny has The Fixer on his side and that wouldn't be fair.

The Linemasters were the group involved with Action Sports.

Why are we withholding the name of the company that bought C of A over? I was under the impression that everyone was paid fully by the new owners. Are you sure about this 30 cent deal?

I was witholding the name of the guy behind the company. The only reason is I'm not here to be slanderous or libelous. I really don't know if the operators of the site would have wanted me to print it, but if they say go ahead, I will. The company that bought them technically was Barron's Sportsbook. However to me, it was the man that bought COA because Barron's never opened. I am sure about the cents on the dollar. Maybe some people got better deals or even their whole account. Whatever people got, they signed off to. In my opinion though people could have used the St. Kitts government to get their money because between Barron's and COA there was significant equity. Barron's was the only book on the island that had an earthstation. That alone could have taken care of the players' balances at COA. They also had some real nice servers now being used for e-commerce.

COA was a funny situation. That was the lastyear the Bulls won the NBA and the Yankees and Braves were hot. I think they got low on money and put up scalp type numbers on those playing the aforementioned and must have got burned. Then they couldn't pay for 4-5 months and still tryed to get out of it with those skewed lines. Finally they offered payouts or a 10% bonus on your money if you would leave it. Don't know about the 30% deal because I got out with a payout. Ror a while they were a good book but must have got too much one sided action and got beat.

                        Guys,

                        I think it is 'Gavazzi'.

I also believe him to be a stand up guy.

                        peace,
