As more and more sportsbooks relocate to Costa Rica, I'm finding it alot easier to transfer funds from one place to another.
Many solid books on the feed have what they call "ledger balances" where just a phone call from one owner to another will transfer funds immediately and is wonderful from a consumer's point of view.
I would encourage as many books as possible to set up books with one another as paying wiring fees, western union fees and other fees to transfer money only takes money out of all of our pockets.
I find the more solid the book the more likely other books are likely to have a "ledger balance" with them. Books know what is happening with one another more than we, the gamblers do.
The really good (and smart) books don't wince when you request a transfer to another book. They convey their appreciation for your business in the tonality of their voice and the demeanor in which they conduct themselves.
