    Was Canbet started by Americans?

Certainly in US Sports it's true. Is there any other UK or AUS book taking 5000/1000 no MLB sides/totals with a 10 cent line on sides?

      (p.s. I don't mean only for suckers)

Canbet is using a half goal spread on the Euro 2000 games. Much better odds than the 3 way betting that other books offer. I saw some half goal lines at Sportingbet but the moneylines were much wider.

ShiftySheik, half-goal lines are good, but true handicap lines are even better! And they are available at 20-cents, which is a very good deal for a soccer bet.

You can bet them at either Intertops (online, click the bet button to see them) or VC, which doesn't post the odds online so you have to call for them.

Pinnacle is offering 20cent 1/2 goal lines for euro2000 plus 106% 3 way markets.
            All good for 10 dimes.

with soccer's high margins, obviously some room to undercut some of the current oligopoly, one you can overcome the distrust/dislike of American thing

however, I seem to notice that everyone that offers the best soccer odds for a while seems to pull their heads in, as presumably the big players find them quickly and have a go - so some risk there - but if good and it takes off somewhere, will put some pressure on some places perhaps - UK bookmaking chains have actually RAISED their market percentage recently on soccer, which is fairly disgraceful

Anyway, Pinnacle and Canbet are to be applauded for their odds currently - let us see what happens in a couple of months when the big leagues start up again

Pinnacle might want to get themselves on Sports.com article, too. No idea if Odds On or anyone would publish interviews or whatever from bookmakers outside the 'uk advertising fraternity' might be worth a shot though - don't see why smartsig wouldn't though.
