Wow.

This is my take on BOOMER's continued posting here:
His knowledge on sports gambling seems valuable to me, and it's value is independent of the source. He isn't, after all, charging anyone for it.
Newcomers to the board need not worry about wrongly following his recomendations on BMs because if he posts one, I, when I see it, will post an account of how he's lost credibility on the subject.
So what could be the problem?
Personally I find this board more valuable than the other, and cleaner. But it does strike me as childish that they bicker.

Wow! Any site that attacks PL on rumors and then retracts it with an apology, but continues to defend $$Patrick$$ and his books is a JOKE! In my mind they lost all credibility.

Premiere League was not ATTACKED, specific questions concerning its financial stability were reported in order to inform.
The way in which the the information was handled left much to be desired, so the SHRINK issued an apology, which takes guts I might add, to admit ones mistakes-
The site is not DEFENDING PATRICK...what he did whith UK2000 is INDEFENSABLE....the site is providing an opportunity for both sides to resolve the matter as a mediator in a professional manner(which in this case requires patience{vacation}he he), PATRICK HAS NOT RESPONDED in sufficient manner in my opinion, but please....the SITE is not DEFENDING HIM......How can anyone?
GET Your facts straight PANDA, but of course, since I challenged a bettorsworld poster,,,,this post will probably be up for two or three seconds before its deleted...

get a grip on yourself. shrink was on the brink of godammn tears and had no choice but to beg forgiveness before the world fell apart on him. it was business decision. it was not a decision made by someone who felt bad about trying to level a book who did not want to advertise on his site. thats how that site operates. they TRY to intimidate the book and imply that if you don't "come aboard" we will have to dig for news whether it is news or not.
do you think by that fool apologizing a magic wand was waved and everything is now all right?

it makes me laugh that within minutes after this apology the shrink a-team all runs up behing him saying what kind of stand up guy he is. one after the other. lets get real.
he is a extotionist in my view. you either play his game or else. there are people that will testify to that. i am beginning to belive that anyone on that site was put in that situation and opted to pay the amount just to get the clown off their back.

lets not forget the real issue. shrink tried to discredit premiere league and eddie. no spin you put on that will change the facts.
once he found himself in a corner he attempted to weasel his way out like he always does. just like a good weasel should.

If you go and re-read the thread regarding Premiere League completely, I would call that attacking. That sort of posting does not belong on a public forum, that should have been done in private. Putting out misinformation about a book in the public and then issuing an apology a day later is not acceptable. You may want to call it something else, but when you put the rep of a book in question without any facts to it, I call it attacking.
As for $$Patrick$$, you are willing to give him all the time in the world to respond to this, the charges against him are for actually stiffing people. The gentleman in question has actually proof of this occuring and you stall only because the man in question is an advertiser. Yet, your willing to report and do a whole thread on PL and its alleged problems, while there is a problem with one of your advertisers of actually stiffing someone. If PL had decided to re-up with your forum would you have printed that article, I doubt it.
