  • An open letter to my creditors...

I am very sad to report that group of books that are under the control of the head of Unified Gaming has chosen to not pay me as we speak. This is forcing me to be late on my obligation to you all.

It is very unfortunate that I let virtually my entire bankroll come under these Unified Gaming sportsbook's control. Even though these were a few different sportsbooks, it turns out they are under the control of one man, a man who has held my entire bankroll for close to a month and has promised me every day this week and one last week that I would be paid the very next day "by the time I woke up."

These lies and deception have caused me to falter on my obligations to those books that were nice enough to extend me credit and I truly and humbly apologize.

My word is my bond and I will pay back every nickel owed to every one of you so help me God, but I may need a little time depending on whether or not I get paid from Unified Gaming.

Feel free to telephone me to discuss this.

I understood that the major Unified Gaming books were Island Casino, IGN, and 5Dimes, and they had the same software and banking center, but different owners. Ditto, the newer Abetz.

Then I think there are probably 20-30 more smaller Unified Gaming books.

To be fair to the above books, assuming they are not involved, I believe that Boomer should identify exactly which book(s) stiffed him. It is VERY unfair to rant against all the Unified books unless they are, in fact, involved.

I'm sorry to hear that BOOMER. It's obvious from your post that this situation has left you stunned and in serious straights.

Occurences just like this help build the bandstands to abolish off-shore wagering from the United States. Once again---players get shafted, and the "good books" suffer the damage of the bad. Problem is------what is a "good book"?? A book that pays until they decide it's time to abscond with your funds or flat out refuse to pay you what money of yours they have in their posession? I'm sure you believed Unified Gaming was super strong to post the bulk of your bankroll with them.

This sounds like another major black eye for the off-shore industry.

The specific books are not really important. All the Unified Gaming sportsbooks and casinos that have had Perplexa as their payout center and have recently switched to UChargedIt are obviously in trouble.

The only two I know for sure that handle their own payouts and have always been honorable with me are: GoTo Sportsbook, Gamblers Palace, and when I told Five Dimes of my trouble today, they immediately transferred the overdue amount to another book. I do believe that Tony of Five Dimes is honorable and he has been shocked and angry that most of his clients weren't getting paid.

The sad fact is that the amount is over 100 dimes and represents my total bankroll. How I let this happen is the question I've been asking myself over and over again during my sleepness nights for the last 25 days.

I will say this: if the head of Unified Gaming screws me, I will not go down easy. I will spend the rest of my days bad-mouthing every Unified Gaming book on every gambling site there is.

This guy has a reputation for slow-paying. All he had to do was be honest with me and say "I've got a problem and need some time," but he's been jerking me around for three weeks.

Again, special note must be made to three books who have always treated me fairly in the group: GoTo (the best), Gamblers Palace, and Five Dimes came through when the chips were down today.

Please Mr. Head of Unified Gaming, come tell everyone here at Bettorsworld why you've been jerking me around for the past three weeks, why I don't have my 100 dimes, and please don't lie, I have taped every conversation of yours, mine and your employees for the past month, a copy of which is being sent to the books I owe money to and the administrators of this site, among others.

Boomer, this is a tragic situation for you. And the fact that there are 32 Unified Gaming books that many BW readers--including myself--play into, could signal a major fiasco.

If you don't get paid, this situation will make the Action Sports affair seem like child's play. I would hope that Al Ross, the guy behind Unified Gaming, is man enough to come into this forum and make a statement.

Obviously, everyone will be interested in knowing which books are involved. And I'm sure you will disclose that info when you feel it is appropriate.

It is interesting to note that 5-Dimes, a Unified Gaming book on the BW Cream-of-the-Crop list has had its description removed. Perhaps Jeff should disclose what is going on with this book.

I also notice that the description of Gold Medal is no longer there. Is there any cause for concern involving this book?

I should also mention the fact that a 9-dime pay-out that I had requested from Go-To on Monday arrived today. I don't foresee see any problems with this book.

I would also like to believe that Island Casino and Sportbet.com are solid, reputable outfits that won't be be taken down by Mr. Ross' shenanigans.

I feel for you Boomer. Hopefully you will be able to recover your money. I remember posting earlier about unifed gaming. I have never felt comfortable in these places. The bonuses are very attractive and I have used a lot of them, but I was always nervous when it came time to get paid. I know they all require you to request by monday and are supposed to be sent on wednesday. The earliest my money has ever come was the following monday. The longest I waited was over a month. My payouts were only between 3-7 dimes. The biggest problem with these books is the bull**** they put you through. They always tell you they will have a tracking number the next day. It can take weeks before you receive a tracking number. Then the most frustrating thing is their managers are always on vacation. I can't believe that a sportsbook with as much volume as these books do, do not have managers on 24/7. I always stayed with them b/c although it took a long time to get paid, i never heard of a no pay. Often i would read of discrepencies on the web and as soon as they were posted they were resolved. I wonder how many people without access to sites like bettorsworld have been ripped off by these unifed gaming books.
I am afraid that with all of the new books out there and the outrageous bonuses that are being offered the whole industry will suffer and books will start dropping right and left. I often wondered with the large bonuses how these places don't go under. Sorry for the rambling but I have been afraid this would happen to unifed gamig at some point. I wish you luck with getting your money.

This is a very scary situation. I never post here, but read the posts daily. The last time I posted here, I believe this place was still called Bookies Hell. At the time I was owed around $7,000 from Island Casino. Their owner at that time was Al Ross. I did eventually get paid in full, but it took several months and literally hundreds of phone calls. I also have a fairly decent size bank roll that I have in play. Since my lesson learned from the Island Casino fiasco I have strictly kept my money in the books listed on the Don's Best premium service. I have often thought of putting money into these smaller books because of the variety of lines you can get, but once again you learn that the risk if still greater than the reward. I wish you all the best of luck in getting your money back. It is **** like that that gives this whole industry a black eye. Personally even makes me scared to have my money in the books I have because there is nothing saying that the books have to pay you when they are off shore. After reading something like your post of being owed over $100,000 it makes me wonder if the best move is to play with the bookie down the street. Once again, good luck!

                        Boomer,

                        WE feel for you?
But once again can I say what harm guys like this do to the whole industry.
I think everyone understands that there are many people in this industry that offer the world and produce nothing, which is unfortunate, because you the players are the ones who suffer and then the reputable like ourselves end up having to carry that same stigma.
Can I say to everyone please be very scepitical of any book who is prepared to buy your business, because 20%,30%,40% sign up bonus is worth nothing if you end up with a 0% payout.
To all the books out there how about trying to earn business via confidence, quality service and competitive pricing rather than buying business.

Once again boomer I am sorry that this has happened to you again but at least we were able to help you recover some of your losses.

                          Boomer,
Let's do this, how about you doing the rest of us a favor here that are with Unified Gaming. I might also add the reader's of the forum: Name exactly which outfit or which person personally it is that you have the problem with and get it overwith, I personally do not like getting e-mails from the customers asking if we are having some kind of financial problem...Let me add that the way that you go about handling your affairs by using this forum is very unprofessional and is certainly not appreciated by anyone that is associated with Unified.

I did not want this gentlemen's name to come out and I wish the administrators would remove it. Those in the business know who is is.

I know there are other people out there who have Unified Gaming nightmare stories and I would like to stay to one solid book, Carib Sports, how can you be part of this Unified Gaming group when you hear true stories such as the one I have provided.

This head of Unified Gaming has manipulated me as he has manipulated every one of his casino owners. I want you, Carib Sports, to stand up to this person and let him know the 100 dimes he is threatening to screw me out of will cost him many times over that from the stench of this.

Carib, iBet, Money Plays, Players Bet, you are in the Unified Group, you know who I am, you guys have worked hard to try and have a good reputation, don't let this head of Unified Gaming manipulate you too as he has in the past, because I promise you, this will not go away and everyone up and down the line will suffer, I promise you.

The head of Unified Gaming said that all of you books had adequate reserves in case of a no pay. Insist that he use these fictional reserves to pay me my money and this will go away.

                              Hey Chester at Island,

Every cent owed to me is in my own name and I ONLY post here when all else fails. You will get a copy of the tapes hearing broken promises day after day after day after day for 30 days.

You will hear Bud Lynch at Rosie's in astonishment that the owners of Rosie's were trying to screw me out of 54 dimes by saying I sent my money in Eastern Carribean dollars. You will hear the head of Unified Gaming admitting Rosie's had financial problems and that they weren't really crooked.

                              Want me to go on...

It's all on tape. You will be fedexed a copy also.
