If I were to bet with sportsbook xxxxx on credit and then lose the settlement amount with them I really feel they have nothing to do with other sportsbook(s) not paying me. Granted I think back in high school I used that excuse when I had to pay someone $30 bucks I said "as soon as Joe pays me I will pay you pete" well Joe had/has nothing to do with Pete. Pete put a bet in and expects to get paid and THAT IS THE COST OF DOING BUSINESS.

Obviously Boomer was way over his head in this whole betting thing because I feel you should have cash reserves to pay the joints that are nice enough to extend credit to you.

Or maybe he has the money and has just decided to use the fact that he is being no/slow payed as a tool.

Maybe I am 100% wrong but that is just my opinion. And I really hope Boomer gets his money but even if he doesn't I just don't see what that has to do with the places you owe. Things like this open my eyes up and makes me not want to keep money offshore.

Krackman, you are 100% correct.......one thing has nothing to do with the other. A player who bets on credit, has an obligation to pay that debt regardless of who is or isn't paying him. The two are unrelated. The player needs to be responsible.....

        BOOMER

A question? Several days ago (May 31st) in this very forum but in another thread you offered the following quote:
"I don't know of anyone who has lost money because a Unified Gaming book didn't pay."

Now---just yesterday in your very own "open letter to creditors" thread you blurted out the following regarding your admission yesterday of having a serious personal problem with several of Unified Gamings books and one of their principals: You said:
        >>"The sad fact is that the amount is over 100 dimes and represents my total bankroll. How I let this happen is the question I've been asking myself over and over again during my sleepness nights for the last 25 days.<<

Last 25 days BOOMER ??? What was your agenda here BOOMER???? Twenty five nites of sleeplessness, and you BROADLY endorsed Unified Gaming a few days ago while you were YOURSELF having a disasterous problem with a few of them regarding being stiffed or stalled????

I'm now thinking that you are not quite the staunchly solid citizen of Bettors World that people would be led to think, but maybe a guy who uses BW to only advance your own on-going personal agendas---whatever they may be!!

Your situation and you is beginning to take on an odor similar to the guy who is stiffing you!

Dot - Unfortunately, THAT was something that needed to be said, and I commend you. Anybody with adequate intelliegence who reads this forum on a frequent basis can put 2 and 2 together. The scenario that you put together is absolutely correct, something that I figured out not too long after the initial post. Something is not right here and it smells like a dead trout in the sun. Krackman's post also pointed out something that needed to be said, but was quite obvious from the get go.

Under normal circumstances, I would say that this is none of my business nor is it the business of anybody else in this forum. But this isn't a normal circumstance. Boomer, alot of people have spent alot of time either trying to help you, offering encouragement, or making suggestions to help you get out of this and several other jams. I also would say that there are people who have followed your advice in certain areas, whether it be recommending a book or what have you. In otherwords, these individuals have a vested interest. Boomer, at this point, you need to lay your cards out on the table if you expect further assistance from the members of this forum. Believe me, we are still on your side (myself included). However, it makes it difficult when I only have one foot on the dance floor and I'm contemplating whether or not my time and effort is being wasted.

To Matt (from Pinnacle): I want to commend you for taking my comments for what they were: a concern for the industry as a whole, and not a jab at Pinnacle. Like I said in another post, I've never heard a bad word about your book and I'm glad you didn't take my comments personally. I'm not sure if I have left anything unaddressed, but per your suggestion, I will e-mail you....

This is the last post I will be making until Monday afternoon as I was contacted by the head of Unified Gaming and promised I would receive funds Monday morning and that he would have a response Sunday evening.

My reference to the fact that no gambler was ever stiffed at a Unified Gaming book was my ineffective and ill-advised manner to subtly send a message to Unified Gaming that I would go public if I did not get my money. Maybe, Dot, if you had 100 dimes at risk, you would have tried to coerce the money in an overt way like I did. It failed. I did not receive my funds any quicker.

Regarding me having an agenda: Many times I do, but I justify my posts by the simple fact that I tell the truth to the best of my knowledge. When I put in a plug for a book like Looselines or Sports Market, I tell the truth, I tell their strong points, their weaknesses, and I don't lie. Has the fact that I'm Boomer helped me in some books. Yes. Maybe I get a little more on a limit sometimes, maybe a little better line once in awhile. I will never apologize for that. Most times I have no agenda and just speak my mind like the rest of you.

Regarding this bonus question and whether or not I should be paid. The bonuses and employees were in my first 8 months of operation for the most part. I won't say I never used an employee to go into a book after that, what I will say is it was never to "churn" a bonus, it was so the book did not know it was me and it was rare.

I have had a different attitude about this employee situation and accepting bonuses and do believe now, as I've made alot of friends that I respect and like who own sportsbooks, that it is wrong to do, and that is why I gave it up. I told certain people that I did it in the past not to "brag", but because I knew I wouldn't be doing it anymore. It was my way of taking responsibility for my actions and coming clean.

As far as the speculation that the head of Unified might have the right to withhold some of my money because of these employees which, for the most part ceased to be used during about two months before March Madness, he was told about the beards and we discussed it and like I said, he was a little pissed, but we conducted business for a month after that with no mention of it, so it was not an issue, and yes I can support these facts on tape.

I am not a politician and do not need to address these issues. I am not trying to get elected to anything. If I am discredited, then Unified wins and he will confiscate my funds and one of you will be next.

The only thing wrong I did was involve sportsbooks with this post that were "guilty by association" and did major harm to them and for that I apologize very very much. It was wrong of me. When your world is caving in, it is hard to be rational.

I've been posting here for about a year and a half. Either you view me as a liar or a stand-up guy. I can't change that. Try talking to some of the feed books I do business with and see if I don't honor my commitments 1000%.

I am sincere in saying that I will not post here again until Monday as doing so will jeopardize me getting my money. No matter what is said here, I must remain silent.

Boomer writes, "Either you view me as a liar or a stand-up guy."

I would say, "No Boomer, those aren't our choices. There's a lot of room between those poles."

J, you're absolutely right, a lot of room.

Junior44, I think I understand what you're saying now. My only point is simply this: If I owed you 50 dimes.....it would be massively different if I paid you the 50 dimes now as opposed to if something was worked out so that you'd be paid $200-300 a day for however long it takes. I know that if it was me I'd work really hard to get the 50 dimes all at once. But I see your point.

                    Boomer,
Just so that you would know it the above passage that I have pulled out and quoted you on gives the exact definition of a beard in your own words. As far as the churning goes that is exactly what you did.

                      Boomer,

Your explanation of your endorsement on May 31 of the Unified books does not cut it. You mislead the readers. Surely there was a better way to suggest you were going public than endorsing them here.

I read it online in the Las Vegas Sun.
I thought that may have been the cause.

Boomer, thank you for the much need reprieve from your constant whinning. How could someone allow themselves to be in a position of having to declare that they are so unethical that they cannot honor a debt until some other event occurs. Your asking me to feel your pain, when you know all to well that you have several options avaiable to generate the necessary funds to cover your obligations. Seems as though you need a little cheese to go with all your whine.
