  • Hammerin' Hank's Message

A buddy of mine, an ex-Vegas wiseguy who goes by the moniker Hammerin' Hank, gave me a call this morning. Hank, who now lives in San Diego and frequents the Tijuana Caliente sportsbook on a daily basis, told me that starting today the Pokers would be "full steam ahead."

Hank hangs out with a "mover" for the Pokers, so is info is always right on. And as the multiple and intense moves today illustrated, the Pokers are officially, now, in high gear.

    Reno,
Took a break from the heat in lv to go to Tj last week. Hope he doesn't try eatting that pink meat thats being sold outside caliente(the one next to the boarder). Wow, was I hurting. You can be in and out(having made a bet) in under 15-20 mins. very easy if the numbers are good. They should be on the feed(and you could jump a southwest flight midweek).

Glad to hear that the pokers are back. Did they do anything last night? I noticed that some totals did move and the moves seemed to hold up.

Slots, I never had a problem from eating the street tacos. But one day when I wasn't thinking--and I have plenty of those days-- I took a long drink of water from the fountain in the hotel next to Pueblo Amigo, and I got Montezuma's Revenge. At the hotel bar, none of the 3 bartenders knew how to make me a pina colada. Luckily, John Calipari wasn't there, or who knows what kind of language we might have heard. And the tequila? I'll never drink that rot-gut alcohol again.

I heard that the Caliente feed has hit Costa Rica, and that the lines might soon be available over the Internet. I don't have any details right now. Your money would go to a Costa Rica establishment, and they would pay Caliente a percentage of the action.

I do hope you also visit the TJ hooker bars at night. If you haven't already done so, check out Chicago Club, Adelita's, and Hong Kong Bar.

Jacmar, I don't get the Poker moves this year. I could move for them, but I don't want the risk or hassle. I just scalp what moves on the screen. Apparently, they came on Montreal, Pittsburgh, Houston, and Anaheim last night. Totals were probably LA under, Montreal under, and maybe Seattle over.

          Thanks Reno
I do like to follow them from the screen too. It's just that sometimes you can't tell thier plays from just the screen. Some lines move, but whose to say it's from the Pokers or not. It's just hard to tell.

jacmar, if it's huge move, it's probably a Poker move and nobody else's. Kosher plays don't have near the following or steam as the Pokers'. When you see a game like Colorado/Pittsburgh this morning that goes from -120 Colorado to -110 Pittsburgh in a flash, rest assured that it is the doing of the Pokers.
